[IDEA] Khajiit fur patterns as slavetats overlays ?

Basically in short, I want to make a proper black and white striped tabby cat character in Skyrim, but the default Khajiit, {as wlel as three other Khajiit related mods I have tried} just do not do the job that I'd like it to.

 

I tried the Ohmes-Raht mod off Nexus, but all that does is crash my game when trying to use the UNP body the mod comes with {yes I ran FNIS and everything on install of the mod} this mod was my hope to do as I had planned, but all it does is crash my game.

 

So, instead of getting a race mod, is it possible to have the fur patterns {tabby cat of various color pairings, various solid colors} as a slavetats texture ?

Yes.  I haven't done striped, but I did cheetah-styled ones and it worked out fine.

 

Mainly, just take the khajiit textures you like and work them for a while in an image editor to get just the stripes isolated.

That brings up a new issue then, finding the khajiit textures in the skyrim textures....

 

Is it possible one is already made ?

 

I am thinking of using tyhe lunari race mod, someone made a tiger patterned skin texture I could modify maybe for personal use.

 

But even then I am not sure if I should try
