I have this mod of this follower yet its just a .esp and a .bsa file. I extracted the files and folder structure from the .bsa but I cant seem to figure out how to edit the .esp file to load the folders instead.

I tried the creation kit for a few hours and watched videos and read tutorials on how to do certain things in CK.

But this seems like it would be simple but its not? lol

All I want to do is change her body type to cbbe

Any ideas?

Thanks.

If you have extracted the files and folders from the BSA, remove the BSA and you should be fine. Loose files automatically overwrite BSA archives. The file paths are the same regardless if it is in folders or in the BSA archive.

BSA archive work as follows:

  • The BSA file must be the same name as the ESP, when the game runs it notices that the names are the same and automatically loads the BSA file.
  • BSA archives are basically the same as a filling cabinet. They can store multiple files and folders within them.

What is the follower mod called?

Sometimes packing files in a BSA can cause a loss of performance in texturing.

I dunno what the harm was of someone re creating her in a game. Its not like they stole her model. What If I decided to draw her would I get in trouble? lol

Maybe should have named her a little different.

Either way she looks amazing in my game now!

Some people see asking for help as a sign of weakness. Personally I see it as a sign of courage being able to admit when you need help and to ask for it.
