Schnozymandias Posted May 10, 2021 Posted May 10, 2021 Hi there, I'm trying to successfully convert a few character presets to the high poly head from KouLeifoh using this guide: https://arca.live/b/tullius/4958275. I keep running in to the same issue at the final step. The conversion works, the importing works, only the eyebrows are in the wrong place. Vanilla eyebrows work ok-ish, but when I switch to a high poly eyebrow such as this one: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/38493 the eyebrows either sink into the headmesh or float in front of it. Any help? Here's a low poly brow: And here's a high poly one:

From the images you've supplied it looks like you're using racemenu -- Asumming that's correct you should be able to sculpt the head via racemenu; by using a small brush you can raise or lower the eyebrow area as required; thus, in theory; make the eyebrows look normal again. Also; if you're using racemenu; go to the sculpt area with the face loaded and try hitting Z on your keyboard; it clears the sculpt & in some rare cases it can fix imported presets. If it still fails; perhaps try the following mods (I'm using high poly head 1.4 & I can attest that they work on my side at least): Kalilies Brows -- https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/40595 - Install as normal. Fair Skin Complexion (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/798?tab=files) - Extract & install the stand-alone brows .esp & brow textures. Finally install the two pathes for the above from here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/43470?tab=files -- These work 100%. Last thing I can think of is... Have you made sure the head type is set to a high poly head? Seems silly but even I forget to make sure sometimes. Skyrim uses the normal heads by default but if you go onto the head section & go through the "face part" options; you should be able to find the high poly head version. P.S; if the head turns a different color just jiggle the body weight up or down & it will reset. Hope you manage to get that fixed O/ Heyo. Yes I do have the original mods installed. In some cases I can sorta fix it using the sculpt method but raising or lowering that area too much results in a dent or bump where the eyebrows are. The yellow mesh part is also lower compared to the original. I am using expressive facegen morphs and am using the compatibility patch. Could that be an issue? It definitely is set to high poly.

I was almost "done" with modding but it looks like this isn't an issue I can fix. ?
