A question for Niskope users/experts

Hello all,

I recently tried to use niskope to edit the meshes of the female lord vampire. Since i am using more nasty critter, i tried to edit the ones from that mod.

My goal is to make the vampire lord thicker, bigger. So i tried to edit the "scale" of different body parts or NiNodes in niskope. The mesh model preview actually look thicker now in the software, but ingame i do not see any changes.

It was pure improvisation for me, so is it even possible to do that ?

The handling of the "weights" of the vertices are controlled by the animtions.

You cannot really alter the scale for animated objects (like actors.)

Maybe you have better results if you use BodySlide, because it will actually move the vertex.

Thank you for the answer CPU. I am a beginner in all this, so i am guessing you mean using Outfit Studio and the brushes to edit the mesh directly right ?

You can make those adjustments using Outfit Studio, yes.  Make sure the reference skeleton is the one from Baka's Animated Beast Cocks if that is what you are using.  Then make a copy of the mesh/nif you want to edit.  Rename it to reference, and use that are your reference for making edits.

Keep in mind if you are using any kind of collision effects, you may need to tweak the xml to make things look right (simple edit to hkpcapsuleshape -> radius).
