Urbinepto Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Hello people. Recently, I have downloaded an OMOD (not a zipped one, a full one) : mbp1.4a mbp++0.98a x117++078 aio.omod found on this site on the forums. Fact is, it bugs and becomes red every time I try to unpack it using OBMM (last existing version) So, I delete the .omod to see that it ate a lot of disk space while still not functionning. My question : do you see how I could delete the files I do not need from my data folder ? How to track them and delete only the one that OMM unpacked ? I have no back-up folder for my data (I know, Its stupid...), yet I don`t want to re install anything. Thanks a lot in advance, this site is amazing, I`ll be coming more often for mods.
Ark of Truth Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 When you deactivated the OMOD the files automatically get removed. You using the retail or Steam version of Oblivion?
gregathit Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 If you deleted the omod file and did not DEACTIVATE it first, then you are up crap creek without the proverbial paddle. If you deleted the omod file AFTER you deactivated it, then need do nothing more.
Urbinepto Posted April 27, 2013 Author Posted April 27, 2013 Thanks for the clear answer, Gregathit. The file was red just after the 99% unpack followed by an error message. "Error: Compressed data file stream didn't contain enough information to fill all files." So I guess it was already deactivated when I deleted it. Then I`ll just restart the PC and see what will happen. EDIT : Solved ! +10 GB of free space as before the OMOD installation. Thanks for the answers, have a nice day everybody.
