Neodarkside Posted April 16, 2021 Posted April 16, 2021 I've been curious if anyone has cloned or duplicated any of the worlds to have multiple in your games? I love many of the worlds and neighborhoods but most of the time I'm torn between residential and community lots being placed on them. Example is the tropical island (I forget its name). I would love to put an entire map of community lots on it, but also have one for residential. Or for Downtown, So many of the lots I like to use already have families I play, and I'd love a 2nd map to play with. I've seen a mod that can duplicate them but appears to have broken in a recent patch. Theres also a tutorial on how to do it in SimStudio. I'm curious if anyone has done it, and if so does updates tend to break it? At the moment, I wouldn't mind Backing up my game and saves and duplicating the ocean world and if a future patch breaks it, just wiping the game clean and starting fresh.
Neodarkside Posted April 20, 2021 Author Posted April 20, 2021 Damn, was really hoping someone had tried this and has info on how well it works. I miss the custom maps of Sims 2, could download blank neighborhoods and build off them. I'd love duplicated or new neighborhoods.

I thought I read somewhere that a update in the past broke that way of doing it. I'd just hate to try it and then a change caused that save to not work anymore.
