QTP3 help needed!

I'm trying to get Quarl's Texture Pack III to work, but it just refuses...

 

Could someone please tell which ones of the hundreds of versions I should download, which order to install them in, which patches to get, and how I install the UOP in this mess?

 

Hoping for some help so I can enjoy Oblivion once again before Skyrim!

 

EDIT: A little info:

My setup is vanilla Oblivion and Shivering Isles with tools (OBMMe, Wrye etc. ). So there are no potential conflicting mods other than those mentioned. And the problem I get is instant crash to desktop when loading or making a new char.

There should be a Qarl TP3+Patches OMOD onthe nexus. That's the only one you should have to download, then you're done.

I tried that, and it seems to work (tested it for a couple of minutes), now I just hope it stays that way when I add more mods (especially Bananasplits Better Cities etc).

If you have the unofficial patch, look for the QTP3 Unofficial patch for it. The reason why is that the Unofficial patch fixes a bug with one of the doors in the Oblivion world. but QTP3 doesn't fix this so having that patch helps too.
