Devious devices dont work properly

whenever i equip devious devices they dont seem to work properly. the hands arent in the places where theyre supposed to be (for yokes, handbinders, ...), i can still attack with my fists, and when i got trapped in a gallow or sth like that (i cant remember the name) i was just standing there, unable to move, but nothing was visible. am i doing something wrong? can someone help maybe?

This may seem obvious, but did you run FNIS after installing and did you have any warnings if you did?
