noctred Posted March 31, 2021 Posted March 31, 2021 Having an odd issue. When MMF/MMMF/MMMMF animations (or multi-female varieties) are triggered by a combat rape mod in the middle of a dungeon, the animation fires correctly but only one offending NPC actor is included... so my character will end up in a gangbang animation sequence with only one other actor. It's always only one actor - never two or three, always just one. The other actors who (I assume) should be part of the scene just keep walking around. I tested the same animations directly with the Simple Sexing mod in a variety of locations with a variety of different actors and they seem fine in that context - all actors join in and everything is ok. Not really sure where to start troubleshooting this. The animations clearly work as expected with all actors when activated directly, and in the situations where some actors are left out there's nothing obvious in the console output to indicate that those actors are "busy" in some way. Anybody ever see this sort of thing? Can post my modlist or whatever is needed, if needed.
Just Passerby Posted March 31, 2021 Posted March 31, 2021 This is not animation's fault. There is just the difference between what you expect and what the mod do. Just different reasons (for example, the morality of the NPC, sexual preference, etc.) affect the choice of a particular animation by the mod. And in your case, an ordinary coupled FM animation starts. If a group animation was chosen, but only two actors participated (visually and synchronously), then the rest, supposedly participants, would not wander around, but would simply stand "inside" the animated ones. Only in this case it would be possible to say that something is wrong with the animation.

I can clearly see which animation is being chosen by looking at the console output. The name of the animation also appears in the upper left-hand corner of the screen. On top of that, I can see the actual animation that's playing with my own eyes - when my character is literally on her knees with both of her hands in the air doing stroking motions while her head is moving back and forth in a blowjob motion, there's no question as to what kind of animation it is... one of her hands is simply stroking the air and her mouth is empty (or some other combination). As for the actors... yes, I would have expected the other actors to simply stand inside the animated ones because that is what I'm used to seeing when an animation breaks, but that's not what's happening. All other NPCs just go about their business, as I said. And again, I can manually select actors and play the exact same animation using Simple Sexing with no problems. I can provide screenshots or whatever else you'd like.

If your using Defeat or Submit you need to turn off rape on Deviously Cursed loot,if used.

The mod which is triggering these animations, however, is Deviously Helpless (SE port). It's a separate scenario entirely from combat surrender as no combat occurs to begin with. Think there might be a conflict between DCL and DH? I considered asking about this in one of the threads dedicated to DH instead but they're all very old and very inactive.

Cursed Loot does close to helpless with having restrictive gear on triggering rape
