Can't run scenes in AAF?

Recommended Posts

Whenever I open AAF I can't run scenes, pick actors or anything. Everytime I try to run scenes I just get two dots rotating around the word and it does not do anything. Also when I go into debug mode after trying to hit enter on scene mode, I am unable to move or scroll at all, any help at all would be appreciated thank you!

Did AAF work for you in the past?  Were you running scenes before?

Did you follow the guide to set up AAF and the other files needed for it to do anything?

I'm new to modding so no I never used it before, I did follow the instructions to the best of my ability, I did everything correct. I use NMM, not Vortex or MO2 so i'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Need to use the AAF checker tool from the discord and see what it says. Something isn't installed correctly.

Happened the same to me after installing SavageCabbages anim. pack. Had to turn it off in Mod manager so that AAF could pop up again. So far I did not figure out why that happened. Tried to reinstal the pack many times but without success so I am running the game without it.

To be honest i never got it to work until i installed stuff like the surrender AAF and a ton of auto starting add ons/themes lile cabbage animations.

It says 68% AAF but it still works on all of the animations. Just cant activate it default.

Just had this myself - AAF was installed and etc, but trying to play a scene all I got was two dots around the AAF logo then nothing; Admin menu I couldn't go up or down -and disabling SavageCabbage's animation pack got it to work.

Necroposting because this solved the issue after I spent two days scratching my head....

I seem to be having the same issue. Bump. Checking my mods...

Edit: Disabling SavageCabbage anims fixes it. I will report back if I figure out what it is fighting with.

Hey, I'm currently running SavageCabbage's animations without any problems. If you do have any problems, the LL AAF Discord channel provides excellent support. You can try running AAF with debug feature (re-install AAF main and check DEBUG option) when launching the game/scenes. There are quite a few things that can cause problems including versions (check the guide to see which version you need, NOT alway the latest but generally so), check the individual mod pages to ensure you have all pre-requisites and if there are load order (the Guide also gives a visual typical load order) requirements.

If you see AAF and a % sign there is something wrong. The inbuilt AAF debug will point you in the right direction, if not ask on the Discord Channel.

So. Disable. The savage animations. I have all 3   And have the dots. Too. Same issue I think it’s one. Of the animation packs that cause this cuz I had two and it worked but. Then now it don’t since I restarted game.  And added. All of them
