Getting Amulet of Mara Without Access to Bee and Barb

So for whatever reason my game crashes every time I try to access the Bee and Barb in Riften. No idea why and frankly I really don't care except for the fact that to marry I have to get the amulet of Mara from the monk dude that you meet in there. Well naturally since I can't access Bee and Barb and the monk then I can't get the amulet and get married. Now my question is does any one know how to fix this problem, if not, I am not surprised. Alternatively I am wondering if there is a way to get the amulet and trigger whatever script or quest that allows for me to go and marry someone. I tried the command player.placeatme with the monks base id but then it doesn't give me the option to buy the amulet from him in the dialog. I heard that you can pick up the amulet through adventuring but then you still need to talk to him before you can go and court a spouse. Well I got the amulet and did the same placeatme command and it still did not give me any options in the dialog to get married.  Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah I have done that but then when I go and talk to people who you should be able to marry there is nothing in there dialog to initiate a marriage. Take for instance the assassin dark elf that is in the drunken huntsmen in Whiterun. When you have the amulet and are wearing it she should say something like "is that the amulet of mara your wearing?" and then there would be something in her dialog like "you interested?" all that is not present even when I posses and am wearing the amulet of mara.

You probably need to add some factions to the monk you "placeatme"'ed.  Sort of like with recycled merchants if they get killed in a vamp attack, with dawnguard.

Try clicking on the maramal clone in the console and addtofaction him with those.  Might work.... might not.

 

You're still probably screwed for thieves guild quests when you are supposed to meet with Maven in the bee and barb though.

He doesn't go to the temple until after you first see him in the bee and bard. There is a bunch of scripted dialog that has to play out first.

Thank you. You are a genius! This method DID work for me. So apparently copying the actor doesn't copy all the factions or scripts that are associated with the original actor in some cases. Well either way now I can start my harem so thank you again.
