Invictusblade Posted March 4, 2021 Author Posted March 4, 2021 a few more details, at this moment, I am using a Male Player, and a Male and Female Settler NPC each is carrying a baby I have the baby to child set at a day so I sleep for 24 hours to test it in all of the tests, The male Player and Female NPC loses the child (good thing) while the Male NPC doesn't (bad thing) btw the arm folding is a issue for another day
dboura Posted March 4, 2021 Posted March 4, 2021 Are you sure this is not like how an NPC's worn 'armor' becomes invisible when you equip in trade? I know its bodyslot related where vanilla is concerned but could a tag or similar cause it to be considered by the engine as an unequipable feature. Like how it does weapons with vanilla based followers? Like Ivy for example. When I give her a weapon and equip it, her default .44 remains invisible in the trade menu still, but she still has it to equip as it's her default gear.

dboura Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 Alright the reason I was stating it was another though, and when I checked it had actually spawned the default armor not just the graphic. I noticed AAF, Vanilla, or perhaps MCG as it was a MCG script calling the AAF animations will cause an armor swap at times. But, using Ivy again as the example, as it just happened again, during the animation call it respawned her default outfit and autoequipped it. I preset her as a Harley Quinn look, clothing and all, and took the clothing so she doesn't default back to equipping it. During the animation play she was again wearing her default clothes which were still in my inventory, instead of being nude with her strap-on. After the call she swapped back to the Harley outfit and upon looking she did have the extra outfit spawned. Are you running MCG or another mods that act like MCG's allowing NPC's to animate together without any PC's interaction? Could it possibly be treating the baby like a sextool during an animation and not removing it afterwards, like how AAF treats penises and strap-ons? Those don't show in inventories, right?

Nope, These are the mod I am testing with at the moment DLC's CC's (A lot of these and I haven't paid a cent) Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch.esp HUDFramework.esm SettlementKeywords.esm ArmorKeywords.esm Loads.esm AAF.esm FP_FamilyPlanningEnhanced.esp and I have working on the script side and got nowhere. working on different Sections trying to get something to work (so far, nothing)
Invictusblade Posted March 5, 2021 Author Posted March 5, 2021 so does anyone have any ideas? because I found a third solution last night (in bed) and work on it this morning. while it is early days, it seem to work mostly (there might be still bugs) old system- MISC vs Armor so how the FPE system worked baby is a MISC Object which can grow up in your inventory or Crib or so how the WDF system worked baby is an armor which can grow up in/on your inventory or Crib new system- MISC and Armor new system baby is a MISC Object which can grow up in your inventory or Crib but... it makes a baby armor a visual symbol of the Misc Object baby so MISC grows up and Armor stays static but when the MISC baby gets move away (Crib, other NPC and Growing) then the armor baby disappears now this does change quite a bit of stuff in the next update so all current armor babies will have to grow up or get frozen(then defrosted in the new update) otherwise they will never grow up in the next update

The new system sound great! Looking forward to it!
