Nessa Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 View File Type N Vegas Outfits This started as a TypeN port of Vegas Girl Outfits but morphed into a multiple outfit mod. And of course I couldn't leave well enough alone and started making new textures for everything. Now includes all manner of outfit types. As of 2.0, a script handles installation of TTW or vanilla FONV! Adds the following TypeN outfits so far: Wild Syaujye (Chinese-ish skank-ish sexy-ish outfit in 4 variations.) Wasteland Diva (Combo outfits made up from other stuff.) Sheath/Ruined Dresses (A variant of the Alma dresses running around. More colors, less shiny.) Vegas Girl variations with pervert versions. (Based on the original with more colors.) Novac Girl (Again based on original with more variation.) Primm Girl (Totally skanky erm.... new outfit based on stuff from Kristina's Closet.) Poncho Variants (LEX Ponchos added to Vegas Girl jeans and such.) Desert Survivor (Lara Croft conversion basically.) Cowgirl (An old retexture/adjustment of the FO3 cowboy outfit I did a long time ago.) Skank "Sexy" Doctor (Basically a totally ridiculous alteration of the vanilla Doc outfit.) Desert Frocks. (Vintage dresses that oddly work out for some reason.) Lingerie Colors (Type N sleepwear retextured to new colors.) Desert Charmer (Mix and match outfit in several colors. Rather skanky!) Raider Charmer (A new mix & match outfit based on MaikCG's Wasteland Mix.) Raider Seducer (Wonky mix of stuff.) Slave Combat Armor (Slave outfit with some armor attached. The Pitt was in mind.) Armored Dress. (Yeah, boring name. Couldn't think of anything. MaikCG's CCCP armor retextured.) Sold in the following places: (Not all stores have everything!) Goodsprings (Chet) Primm (Nash) Novac (Giant Dino.) Freeside (Mick & Ralphie) Vault 21 Khan's Armory Mojave Outpost Silverrush (Van Graffs) Available at TTW locations: (Not all stores have everything!) Potomac Attire (Rivet City) Flak & Shrapnel (Rivet City) Grumpy Captain Durga (Citadel) Moira (Megaton) The Infamous Ling (Tenpenny Tower) Panada (Point Lookout) Friday (Haven, The Pitt) Not working for unknown reasons! Pathed Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 The dark coat some some clipping issues when running. Also, I'm getting some weird textures with some of the clothes. How would I go about fixing that? Basically the shirts are all blocky and mixed colors.
Nessa Posted January 24, 2014 Author Posted January 24, 2014 Heh, apparently I'm not following my own topic. I HATE that. Anyway, the new 1.6 update should hopefully fix up the Vegas top clipping issue. I think I fiddled with the coat at some point between 1.5 and 1.6 too. As for the wonky colors, that sounds like the textures aren't installed. Might want to toggle Archive Invalidation also.
Nessa Posted February 1, 2014 Author Posted February 1, 2014 Another poster found a couple bugs in some of the latest outfits. Some outfits don't have pipboyon meshes which means you get wonky missing arm parts unless you use something like this. I'll include a fix for the next update.
Nessa Posted February 19, 2014 Author Posted February 19, 2014 Alright, latest update should hopefully fix the pipboy issues. Also reweighted a bunch of stuff and maybe fixed dismemberment on a few outfits. I have no idea if dismemberment works on anything at all since I have it turned off and refuse to test it. I have all the meshes in place but whether or not that works, no clue. If anyone else wants to confirm it works that would be nice.
Nessa Posted April 21, 2014 Author Posted April 21, 2014 OOK, new update! First, made a new quest which should hopefully distribute various clothes to vendors without requiring any cell edits. (No conflicts!) Also adds a new outfit: Wild Syaujye. Note the Syaujye stuff is slightly breezy at the moment for lack of decent... er... unmentionables. (Meaning, I don't have any that I like at the moment.) I'm leaving the previous version up in case there are problems with the new version. Shouldn't be but then one never knows...
Nessa Posted April 25, 2014 Author Posted April 25, 2014 Minor update to fix the totally idiotic weighting on the Syaujye stuff. Oops!
Nessa Posted July 21, 2014 Author Posted July 21, 2014 Big update this time. Syaujye now are NOT breezy. Yay! And.... added Desert Frocks, colored lingerie, Raider Charmer, Desert Charmer Outfits, and Armored Dresses (CCCP Armor). Also... new TTW version handled by installation script. Finally outfits can be had in the DC area. Though obviously not everything.
fredfunk Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 I am have trouble with the Vegas outfits not showing up in the vendors inventories. I have checked for conflicts in FNVedit but I am not seeing any there and I am seeing the TN Gypsy clothing in Chets and Cliff's inventories but no Vegas outfits. Is there a console command to force a respawn of the Vegas outfits in the Vendors inventories.-Thanks
Nessa Posted September 5, 2014 Author Posted September 5, 2014 Hmm... I'll have another look at things when I get a moment. Stuck in some heavy non-TypeN modding at the moment. Meanwhile try making a clean save and reactivating it. That might kick the script back into gear. Oh right, TTW version or vanilla FONV?
fredfunk Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 I am using vanilla FONV. I tried a clean save and waiting for a week for the vendors to re spawn but with no luck.
Nessa Posted September 6, 2014 Author Posted September 6, 2014 Sounds like a serious issue then. I'll have another look at the scripts... (I haven't technically played in the Vegas area for awhile due to TTW.)
Nessa Posted September 6, 2014 Author Posted September 6, 2014 OK, just had a look. Everything seems operational here. The script doesn't look like it needs NVSE either. (Though one should have it anyway.) However.... do ANY vendors at all have Vegas Girl outfits? If none do, fire up FNVEdit again and take a look at the "xNVOClothingQuestScript" script. Are there any errors in the global reference section (at the bottom)? (Another option is to right click on the TypeNOutfits.esp and select "Check for Errors" if you don't know about that already. ) The only thing I can think of is that the script is failing at adding to Chet's inventory and as such the rest of the script fails to. That should never happen UNLESS somebody somewhere changes Chet's inventory container in a big way. (Big as in changing it's formID.) Chet's inventory container should have a formID of "00104C7A". If any mod changes that, than the script has a potential to fail. And I'd like to know if a mod does change it because if so, I'll change how armor is added to vendors.
Swyke Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 I have the problem, too. No Vegas Girl outfits at any verndors. Only the gipsy outfits. But they are from their own mod, right? Haven't looked into NVEdit, but maybe there is a solution alredy made. MongkeQaan Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 Just wanted to chime in and say that I'm also not seeing these outfits in stores. Just the gypsy outfits.
Nessa Posted November 27, 2014 Author Posted November 27, 2014 Yeah, I think the new setup just isn't working for everyone. I'm going to switch methods on the next update.
Nessa Posted November 27, 2014 Author Posted November 27, 2014 OK, I'm trying out yet another new idea. This time warping containers directly into the store cells to avoid cell edits. To anyone having issues with the old one, try this one out. The vendors "fixed" should be: Chet, Novac, Mojave Outpost (Lacey), and Vault 21 (Sarah). They all should now have a safe somewhere in the store. The downside of course is that they must be inside their store cell in order to sell the items. (Only really affects Nash in Primm. He doesn't get to his store until you get rid of the bandits.) I'll eventually get around to getting all vendors updated this way (including TTW) but you know... Thanksgiving and all... TypeNOutfits.esp
Swyke Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 Thank you very much. I will try it as soon as I'm on my gaming computer. The outfits are wonderfull, sexy but not to extreme and 'lorebreaking' ... ( I've looked at them by thowing all of them in a chest I placed outside the goodsprings store ) ( And if I ever would go back to my 'schoolgirls' mod - But I have no time and Dany2306 is dooing a rework of it - I would ask if you to could edit the frock to a 'schoolgirl-uniform', I could add to my mod. )
Nessa Posted November 29, 2014 Author Posted November 29, 2014 OK, new update that fixes some lingering clipping and adds two raider outfits that ... look like other raider outfits. (I had them laying around so I figured I'd throw them in.) The merchants are all now using the "warp the stupid chest into the stupid cell for the stupid merchant" technique. Hopefully this should solve some of the issues people were having with the old method. Only caveat is Friday at the Pitt refuses to work but she's also not working with her vanilla inventory either. May be a TTW issue. Still her safe is full of some goodies if you can nab her key. If there is a TTW issue, she'll be functional if and when the issue if fixed. @ Swyke You know, I think I had a school uniform somewhere but tossed it due to the lore perspective. Figures!!
Nimno Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Hopefully my necro on this will get noticed. Where can these be obtained if a vendor is dead? For example, a Tryout quest necessitates the death of Nash, making the PrimmGirl outfits unavailable. Would it be possible to get a list of item codes to spawn some of these in when I run into these issues? Oh, and I love the mod, very nice work.
Nessa Posted August 9, 2015 Author Posted August 9, 2015 Isn't the Primm Girl outfit sold by ... um... the guy in the big dino? (I haven't played FONV lately so I'm forgetting all the NPCs.) I'm fairly certain I had that one sold at more than one place. But perhaps not. Easiest way to get a list is to run FNVEdit on your setup and note the baseID's. Which reminds me, when I return to FONV again I need to have a look at this again. Have a few updates for it sitting here.

If you use the FNV Item Browser you can add any item to your inventory via MCM, including those from mods
Nimno Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Wound up finding it FNVedit. But all the replies are much appreciated. Funny thing though, I started another playthrough, and Nash doesn't seem to have the outfits yet. I'll check him again after I get them a new sheriff. Edit, just a little info. I am using these outfits mostly for my followers. My gal is wearing a little piece I mish-mashed together in nifskope; a combination of the Gypsy bellbottoms and boots (with an added belt/holster), a tanktop from your mod, and the scarf and great khan vest for type N from another mod (sans furry shoulders). I have to say, she looks pretty awesome, just tiny bit of clipping on the legs while running.
RonAIronMan Posted August 20, 2022 Posted August 20, 2022 Ok i feel dumb asking but does anyone know if this set covers all the base outfits? I know its kinda old. Not sure if i want to mix up body types lol
