Skse Crash on Start

Hey Mates, seems like i really could use some help.

Yesterday everything worked fine, i could play the game normaly and didn't have any big issues. After Deleting the skse ini you can download from nexus, the game crashes. After starting it i get a CTD the moment the Startmenu comes up. The Game starts without Skse just fine and i installed the Ini back immediately. Also tried reinstalling Skse, runing as Admin but thats the end of what i could think of.

Edit: i tried again and noticed it freezes for a couple of seconds before it crashes.

 

 

 

Edit 2: Fixed it. Seems like the game was just missing a couple of files. After letting steam doing its diagnostics and installing them again, everything is back to normal.

 

But i would appreciate if someone could tell me how that even happened in the first place, just so i can learn how to avoid such bullshit. Just simply Deleting a file that's not even part of the base game can do something like that?

Yes, specifically if it belongs to some primary mod (MASTER) usually named ESM. For example ZazAnimationpack, almost always mandatory mod, is a Master. Eliminating incomplete and / or incorrectly, involves a CTD, in case there are other mods that require the specific Master (ZAZ) .

 

In order to remove files completely, use the Modmanager, or, run manually, you need to find the folder of the mod to be used to identify both the files to be removed and the paths to follow in Skyrim Data

So the Ini file i installed later on, after everything was setup and working could become something like a Master?

Strange but thank you i will keep it in mind, the file is now back where it belongs and after steams "magic" Trick everything works like it should be. (Even better for some strange reason. But hey lucky me i guess ^^)
