gregathit Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 http://www.loverslab.com/topic/8893-installation-guide-with-lovers-mbp-and-wyre-with-bashed-patch/ Follow steps 1 through 3 for the basic must have stuff. Bodies, DMRA and HGEC are the two most popular for females. Both can be found at the nexus or here. Robert's body is pretty much it for men. There are a ton of sizing options in the body: http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/40532 You can also just go with Setbody Reloaded which contains most of the body types out there: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/13908-setbody-reloaded/ XeoSP++ is IMHO the best vanilla replacer out there: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/15185-xeo-sp/
Guest ThatOne Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Oblivion has it's own unofficial patches, script extender (OBSE), a graphics extender (OBGE) which is very useful and vastly improves the picture quality, texture packs (Quarl's v3 is my suggestion, along with one of the Lush & Gaudy mods). You will probably want the Oblivion Mod Manager (or TES mod manager, if you prefer it), Wrye Bash, BOSS and (if you are a modder yourself) the CS and TES4Geko. Anime-ish faces can be very easily made with Xeo, though it's a pain to install. I suggest you start with smaller mods first. You'll find the face textures already in whatever race mod you choose, so that's a plus - and, unlike Skyrim, there is no "other beauty stuff" in Oblivion (everything you need is included in each race mod). Notice that Xeo changes every single NPC to an "anime-ish" style. It also "beautifies" the NPCs in the process. If you don't want all the NPCs to be "anime-ish", you can use the From 2ch-Live mod in the none-adult download section. You'll find the Oblivion character generation system is vastly superior to Skyrim's base, so there is nothing like ECE (as far as I am aware). I will suggest either the Diablo Elves or the Moonshadow Elves to start with. You can try BellaGail's Blood Elves if you'd like. All three are extremely easy to make pretty faces with. Female body: I suggest installing SetBody, which will allow you to pick the one you like the most. There should be anything from flat to gigantic there. There is a high resolution texture replacement for the HGEC body on the Nexus, which you will probably want to download. For males, Robert's V5 is the most common as far as I know... Not that there's half as many mods for any of the male bodies. But you can find a replacer, as well as some clothes and armors, if you care to look. Hair & eye mods: It's up to you to download and add whatever you like. Unlike skyrim, you will need to manually add hair and eye references to each race you wish to use them on. A possible work-around is to use mods like Vipcxj's hair system, but it's are slightly more advanced so you might wish to do that later. I think that should do it for now. Yell if you need help.

Guest Spikes Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 If you have default settings for keys, press A, keep it pressed and turn your mouse around, you'll be able to turn the camera around your character while he/she stays still.
Guest ThatOne Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 DarNified UI is the most common Oblivion UI mod. http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/10763/?
gregathit Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Personally I prefer the DarkUiD version of Darn. It has been more recently updated: http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/11280/?tab=4&navtag=%2Fajax%2Fcomments%2F%3Fmod_id%3D11280%26page%3D1%26sort%3DDESC%26pid%3D0%26thread_id%3D36498&pUp=1 Make SURE you install it with OBMM!!!! NMM can't handle the scripting and will crash.
FallenWarrior Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Looks interesting, will have to check it out during the summer break.
