How to remove a dependent mod from another mod?

I have a mod that turns all guards in Skyrim to women but it is dependent on ApachiiSkyhair which messes with the SG hair pack so I wanted to remove said Dependency from the mod but I have no idea how.

That is a dependency that can't be removed. Apachii Hair is an esm. file and was used as a master by the esp creation of the guard mod so the dependency sits realy deep (game should have CTD on start should you ever try to load the guard mod without the Apachiihair esm aktivated).

The only way I can think of to remove this is to create the esp new but then you also have remake the entire mod.

Anyway Apachii and SG hair shouldn't have problems together since both add entirely new hairstyles to the game and don't modify any existing stuff (as far as I know). I recomend ask the mod auther of SG hair what my cause the problems you have.

Normally They shouldn't but if I install both the SG Hairs<--awesome hairs and ApachiiSkyhair 1.5 the SG hairs no longer show up in the creation window and it doesn't seem to matter where I place either in the load order.

I did think about redoing the mode from scratch but finding all those guards in CK is like asking a guy to cut off his own manhood with a dull knife I.E. a lost cause.

Lol what a painfull comparison, I do not want to think about it (but it's quit fitting)

Seems SG Hairs has generally a problem with other hair mods that come as .esm file. I don't know why that is.

For the ESM Hair stuff the simplist solution would be disable esm hair packs on character creation, save after that, and disable the ESM after that.

For deleting dependences yeah it's possible simplist way would be with TES5Edit mirroring the entries from the esm in the esp with an esp ID and changing the entries which point to the esm entries to the mirrored esp entries.

I think the cause off this is that the esm files somehow mess up the formlists for the esps, someone tried to make the hair esms to esp and test if it's stilled caused? ESP can be set to master entries with editors like TES5Edit or WyreBash so if a hair mod is a dependence it can simply be changed to the esp and should still work fine.
