They do not have to be worn as they can be permanently assigned via the Wicked Whims body customization menu. If one wants to integrate them into one's outfits, they can be worn like any other bottom or accessory. Even when worn as clothing, they can be functional.

One needs a Wicked Whims compatible body part selector item as well as clothing that accounts for the additional anatomical details.
