[QUESTION] Toggle Clothing and Armor to be Invisible?

Is it possible to make like a mod that allows you to toggle the armor you're wearing to be visible or invisible, so that way you still get the stats and effects of the armor and clothing, but they don't appear on your character?
I had someone make a character preset for me, using his custom bodyslide body, and because the body has HUGE tits, ass, and belly, it of course causes clipping with armor, even with the editing he did with outfit studio. Unless there's someone out there who can take commissions or something to convert outfits to the big bbw body this guy made for me (If so, I'd really appreciate knowing!), I figured it would be easier if there was a mod that just let the character run around naked, without sacrificing stats you'd get from things like mage robes you find, since I want the character to be a mage. aha

You can make outfit invisible or hide body parts that are clipping in 3d app (outfitstudio, etc).
To hide the outfit (or parts of it) simply open it with Nifskope, left click on the outfit and expand its tree structure to BSlightingShader property > click on it and find ALPHA property - set its value from 1.0 to 0.
Body parts can be hidden by using advanced knowledge of the skin partition data.

Huh, alright, I'll try that, thank you! It's still a shame that I won't be able to use this body with any good outfits because it's too large. Still hopeful that somehow I could find someone with the know how to properly fit outfits to it. aheh.

If I do use this method, though, will the character's body proportions shrink to fit the outfit, despite the outfit being invisible at that point? Like, it's one thing to make the game think the outfit is invisible, but will it still affect the body as if she's wearing something, rather than keeping the body slide values and HDT physics like she isn't wearing anything at all? If I'm making any sense?

You asked about making body clipping to stop or make outfit invisible. I described the method to just hide outfit mesh using nif shader configuration. The mesh polygons will just be invisible to render, to show only your naked body in game.  What you are asking next about

is making absolutely no sense in lexical semantics for me (Im not native EN speaker). I dont understand how its relative to mesh visibility in game.
If you did mean - will this outfit stats and body proportion be saved as intended when changing shader params?  Yes they will. You only adjust opacity  of this outfit.

Hi there,

Sorry to ask a stupid question, but how do you get to the *.nif files of the vanilla clothes/armour?

You can extract Skyrim - Meshes.bsa archive with BAE tool. Don't forget to extract Armor\Clothes assets to a different place, so it would not overwrite custom vanilla armors if you have one in Data\meshes\ folder. ( bikini, skimpy clothes)

Thank you very much :)
