The visual novel is set in a dystopian alternate reality in which most nations are ruled by unelected bureaucrats while the government’s political power is extremely limited. In particular, the game takes place in Santa Rita, a city suffocated by corruption and ruled by the mob.
You play as Luna, a young woman with a murky past whose life is turned upside down when her father dies and she discovers her old man was engaged in some very shady business. Even worse, Luna finds out that her father has made a lot of enemies over the years. Those people seem to hold a deep grudge against her father...and against his family in general.
They want payback. They want blood. Her blood.
Aided by the mysterious Mr. Cavalcanti, a friend of her father, Luna leaves Santa Rita, her hometown – she flees her home to save her life.

That happened three years ago. Since then Luna has been hiding in plain sight, trying to elude her father’s old enemies while she attempts to rebuild her life. She has succeeded so far, but not without paying a price.
The old Luna liked being the center of attention, but the new Luna is forced to lay low. She has to lie, pretend to be someone else but as the lies keep piling up, she starts losing her sense of self. Moreover, despite everything that happened, she misses home. Which is why when Mr. Cavalcanti gives her the green light to return, Luna readily accepts.

Problem is the danger is far from over. It has just begun.

Well, the game is still in development, but there are a couple of hours of gameplay

Loved it so far. I usally don't like games with female protagonists but this was good, especially because you can avoid men and kickass.

• There are no "restricted choices"  in this update, but there are bad outcomes**(the attributes check are still there).
• You have to start a fresh game. Sorry about that.

*This way, the notification/pop-up's problem should be solved.

Several. 1 You can bribe him if you have enough money. 2 You can "persuade" him if Luna is a hero 3 Or you can kick his ass if your def and corruption are high enough (def 22 corruption 11)

I tried the free version and am considering becoming a Patron. I'm not too far into it yet but one suggestion I have is to change the color of the descriptive text. That sort of tan-orange can be super hard to read in some scenes, particularly if they have a lighter background.

I never realized it was so hard to read...maybe I should have. Anyway, thanks for the suggestion!

I finished what you have and it's quite interesting. But yeah, that text is almost impossible to read in some scenes. I won't lie, there are a couple of scenes where I still don't know exactly what was in that text but got enough from context to have an idea. Generally the lighter the background the harder that text is to read. 

That said the game is quite good and you're off to a good start. Doing better than me on my own little game! 

Edit: My only other complaint about the game is Luna's hair. I just don't like it. It's too butch for my tastes. I actually preferred it before her hair cut.

About the hair...you're not the only one  Anyway...in update 0.14 Luna will have a different hairstyle ^^

Ah! I looked on the HUD and that was the corruption option. That's why I didn't choose it. Nice! A question about the state of mind thing. What additional fetishes do you have in store?
