rance Posted January 27, 2021 Posted January 27, 2021 I'm getting a rather odd bug when I behead female NPCs: It's all white-pink. Strangely enough, males don't have this issue. Female NPCs look normal when they have their heads attached. I tried removing all female body mods too. If needed be, I can provide a load order.
Tiress Posted January 27, 2021 Posted January 27, 2021 Body is fine, this looks like a missing texture for decapitatedheadfemale mesh. Do you use any gore mods or some that might modify the mesh? Or a mod that overwrites the textures\actors\character\female\FemaleHead.dds .
rance Posted January 28, 2021 Author Posted January 28, 2021 No gore mods here, but I do use a couple of body mods and skin texture replacers.

rance Posted January 28, 2021 Author Posted January 28, 2021 I haven't tested that. I'll give it a try and report back.
rance Posted January 28, 2021 Author Posted January 28, 2021 Alright, I found the source of the issue. It was a, believe or not, follower mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/28812 Whenever is active, the neck has that bug.

Looks like the ESP from this mod modifies SkinHeadFemaleNord texture set, that is used for decapitated necks, removing all the texture paths = the game doesn't know what textures to load for female decapitated necks. Nice.
