As of 2021, what is the best prostitution mod for female characters intending to sell their bodies and for male characters intending to do the same, potentially for the player character to become a pimp?

For doing just that and nothing more, simplicity would say TDF's Prostitution and Pimping would be the way to go. That is pretty much what it does, though there is an addon mod for managing more than the default 15 prostitutes if you go the pimping route.

 

Radiant Prostitution has a few other things it can do which makes it not so simple.
