Servus Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Hi there! Did you tried loading a .fomod file and end up crushing FOMM? You can fix this but it require a little editing. PROBLEMYour .fomod file was loaded prior to FOMM with Nexus Mod Manager. NMM adds some new variables that FOMM dose not recognize. NOTE In this tutorial to exemplify the method i will use SexoutStore 20130209-1.fomod that was modified by NMM and 7-Zip. !! The original SexoutStore 20130209-1.fomod file here on LoversLAB has no problem !! !! Use 7-Zip, WinRAR will not update the .fomod file !! SOLUTION Step 1: Open the .fomod file with 7-Zip trough "7-Zip -> Open archive..." option in your right-click menu.Step 2: In "fomod" folder you will find "info.xml", open it with Notepad++. It should look like this: Step 3: Delete the highlighted lines. After it should look like this: Step 4: Click the "Save" button and close Notepad++. Step 5: 7-Zip will prompt you if you want to update the file. Click "OK". Now if you double-click on SexoutTryout.fomod or choose "Add FOMod" from Package Manager, it will be properly recognize by FOMM and added to your MOD list! For some MOD's (ex. oHUD) it retains the description added by NMM that the MOD didn't had in the first place. So it is an up side to this after all. That's it! I hope this was helpful. Enjoy! PS: I hope zippy57 has no problem with using his MOD as an example. If so, I apologies and will change accordingly.
