Back2friday Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Ok first of all, my game runs smooth 60fps playing the game. I can roam 5 hours straight in Skyrims open world, BUT, whenever i enter a dungeon/cave and cleared it (after 20+min) and go back outside to Skyrim, the game starts losing it and the fps is dropping below 20 fps. What the hell? If i enter the world map its gone, but soon as i close the world map, the game is losing it. To fix this i have to either fast travel to somewhere else, or reload a save. Going back inside the dungeon and out does not fix it. What could be the problem here? I dont know how to post my load order. I use Vortex. If anyone could tell me how to get the load order i could give it, but im not downloading LOOT, because i heard mixed opions about it. Also not planning to mess with my load order. Then i raher just fast travel or reload a save. I play on a I5 3470 8BG with GTX 1060 3GB on 1080 screen My mods are very basic and i am not using ENB weather mod Mythical ages -with Eternal Clouds with 2k textures SFO summer edition (i need to try changing the grass settings from 20 to 40 maybe. On the post it said it could help with performance, but i doubt this is this problem.) SMIM, KS hari SMP, physics = CBPC (not SMP) the rest are bascially patches, outfits and sexlab mod wich all just work fine. I have no idea why this happens, because i can roam the world for hours and fast travel many times i like, but soon as i enter dungeons and stay in it for a period of time, the game is losing it once i go back outside. Lowering shadows/distance did not fixed it. i really hope some ini tweaks could fix this. sickboy791 Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 Open vortex, go to tab OPEN, click on Open Game ApplicationFolder, this opens a new folder where you can find the loadorder,,,, its .txt file I guess you have engine fixes installed ? part 1 and part 2 ? if so, open vortex go to mods, double click on engine fixes part 2 /select modtype select dinput why is that ? look here ! https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17230?tab=posts install enboost, you dont need an enb preset just enboost this guide https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/15146/?tab=description check if you maybe have incorrect skeleton... note: this is just my suggestion how i solved the problem with this particular problem, there may be different opinions, would be glad if someone else answering to your post... i have this problem only if i go outside the restless hunter (pahhshmod) for every other location i solved this by doing the above edit: you can get fpsboost as wll by changing ishadowmapresolution to 2048 , but i think you already have this in prefs ini
Back2friday Posted December 23, 2020 Author Posted December 23, 2020 Hmmm, I do not have engine fix part 2 in Vortex as it said to install manual. I think i misread the line where it said that Vortex users could install it through the Mod Manager. edit: Apperently its fine to install it manual too so this solution wont change anyting. Correct me if im wrong on this. reading d3dx9_42.log everything runs correct as it should. About ENB boost, dont you need the actual ENB for this to work? I am not using ENB. After reading the posts on Nexus, I have my doubt doing this. So i might keep this as a last resort. edit: read some more posts about this. Set the UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics setting to true in your ENB settings for no graphic changes and ENB boost on top of it. Got it, i will try if no other solution come up. Skeleton is fine every mod/animation works and shadow is 2048 already indeed. I even tried changing shadow distance to medium and low, but no fix. FNIS generates fine too nothing wrong, however i do use the normal generator and when generating it count almost 8000 animations. Gameplay is fine w/60fps, the problem is only when leaving a dungeon/cave. Really strange as it does not happen with houses or buildings like WinterHold College.
