Laptop Mode and Uncompressed textures

So I discovered that the latest version of Wicked Whims doesn't allow for uncompressed textures nor use of laptop mode. Is there any chance that these options will be usable in the future? These options really help with my game performance.

Of course, a couple of tool makers are already in works right now to solve this issue for good. I don't like this either, it's a temporary solution, but either this or broken textures.
