gumiyo Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 I'm trying to build certain COCO outfits in BodySlide, but for some reason quite a few of them have this issue where the body won't scale with the sliders, but the outfit itself will. The mod itself comes with a fomod installer with a CBBE and a UUNP option, and I've made sure that I am installing the UUNP version (otherwise the textures end up looking all wack). I tried googling but I wasn't able to find a solution. Thanks. Quote
VersuchDrei Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 Looks like the body doesn't have sliders conformed, which is weird, because it usually is the reference. You could manually fix that by editing the SliderSet. Since I don't know if/how much experience you have with Outfit Studio I'll just ELI5 this. In BodySlide on the bottom right click the Outfit Studio button, this opens Outfit Studio. Then in Outfit Studio click File -> Load Project.. and choose the project. It should be called [COCO]FQ_clothtop1_B.osp. On the right side there is a list of all parts of the outfit, just above the sliders. There should be one called UUNP. If it is not green right click -> Set Reference. Now click File -> Load Reference... and select either Unified UNP or Unified UNP HDT, depending on if your armor has HDT or not. This should delete the old body and replace it with a new one, which looks exactly the same, but now scales with sliders. Optionally you can test if it works now by moving some of the sliders and see what happens. Click File -> Save Project or just Ctrl + S. That's it. Now you can close Outfit Studio and rebuild the armor in BodySlide.

Turns out, this method worked to make the body scale with the outfit, but now the body doesn't jiggle like the outfit does (if that makes sense). Here's a video of what I mean. https://www.redgifs.com/watch/boilinginferiorgreatdane You'll notice that the little metal piece around the torso moves, but the breasts are completely still. For the record, the breasts still moved moved when I had the previous issue of them not scaling correctly. I followed your steps as you explained them, and I tried making a Unified UNP, Unified UNP HDT, and a Unified UNP Special reference for the outfit, and all 3 have ended up with this issue. Any idea why this is happening? Edit: hmmm, messing around with Outfit Studio some more and now I'm having the problem where it doesn't even save any of the changes I make. I'm trying your steps with another outfit mod that is having the same scaling issue, and for some reason none of the changes I make in OS are saving. I load the UUNP reference, make sure it's green signifying that it's the reference, click Save Project, close OS. When I open up the outfit again in OS, the changes I made and saved are now reverted back to the original.

Sorry for the long response time, it took a while to make this video and upload it as my internet isn't the best, but this shows what I mean by the changes I make won't save. https://redgifs.com/watch/jointsorebat

I am not sure if that is a BodySlide issue or if Windows has some issues with permissions there. You could try to circumvent that problem by using Save Project As... instead. Then give it a new name "[COCO]FQ_clothtop1_B NEW" or something like that and click the To Project button before you save. This will also rename the settings in the Project category, so you create a new SliderSet and ShapeData instead of overwriting the old ones. As to why that problem occurs in the first place I have no idea and it would probably take a lot of trial and error to fix it.
