hello all - was hoping someone could help me with editing a clothing item. the original item is a strap top from GORILLA (see attached file).  what i'm trying to do is remove the tube top shirt under the straps.

  1. i started by trying to export the DIFFUSE and using photo editor to erase the shirt part but it came back with a diff color.
  2. i then exported the mesh and used blender to delete the vertices but.. well look >

any advice or help would be most welcome. ty

Well, you deleted the vertices.

You need to replace the original mesh by a nude top. Keep the parts you want to, then re-assign the weights. It's like making a new CC. You can find tutorials on Sims4Studio.

all this can be done in S4S? no need to do anything in blender?

Nope, you need to make the new mesh in blender, with a combo of a nude female top and the mesh you're using. Combine them together as neatly as you can, don't forget to credit the nude top creator when you release your mod.
