Realistic Needs and Diseases 2 -- Character stops getting hungrier

Hi folks, I was hoping the community could help me unravel an annoying (though fortunately not game breaking) bug I'm encountering. The author has removed the bug reports & comments sections from this mod's Nexus page, so there isn't a direct support channel available there.

I recently switched from iNeed to RND2 because of iNeed's issues with crash-on-save during long playthroughs (possibly due to inadvertently creating circular leveled lists in the save file, but that's a topic for a different thread...)

RND2 has been working well for me, and I like many of its features - including how it handles empty bottles and how the diseases are implemented. Unfortunately I have one major problem that is annoying and detracts from immersion. The hunger feature will randomly just stop working.

Now, I don't mean that I eat food and it doesn't satisfy me -- that part works fine. However, hunger points don't accumulate. Thirst and sleep needs still work, but hunger get's stuck. I don't get any error messages, iWant UI elements still detect RND hunger as active and report the (frozen) status at whatever it stopped at, and the check needs power reports valid values. Eating food reduces the hunger level, all the way to zero if I eat enough, but it never gets higher.

Stopping and starting the mod will briefly restore functionality, but within the span of an hour or less of game time it'll stop again.

Has anyone encountered this issue before? While it isn't breaking my game, it's not really sustainable long term since it not only fails to impose constraints on my character (need to carry food, etc), but it actively prevents me from playing content like Hunterborn since consuming those food items will ultimately lead to obesity if I don't resolve the issue.

xEdit didn't reveal any obvious record conflict issues, but I've included my load order below for reference.

Thanks in advance for your assistance!
