JackScape Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 Guys, is it possible to convert those two armors for LE? The are simply amazing. https://sunkeumjeong.wixsite.com/mysite/post/christine-forsworn-retribution https://sunkeumjeong.wixsite.com/mysite/post/christine-dragon-breaker
Dorabella Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 Cathedral Assets Optimizer How to use : 1) Set the profile on TES5 2) Open Directory and import the folder armor 3) Check that meshes and textures are set as in screen 4) When everything is configured, click on RUN and the armor will be converted for LE Spoiler
JackScape Posted December 1, 2020 Author Posted December 1, 2020 Yes I tried and I am talking with the mddder. There is a problem beacuse CAO does not convert BC7 textures when using the TES5 profile
Corsayr Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 You are also going to have problems with the physics, unless you are doing the BHUNP versions (BHUNP is backward compatible) Which textures can't you convert with CAO? You could use paint.net to open them and save as BC3
JackScape Posted December 1, 2020 Author Posted December 1, 2020 I use BHUNP for LE. In game evertything works really fine, meshes are good and i have no vrashes. The only problem is the textures are all purple. Can i do it with paint manually? One by one?
JackScape Posted December 1, 2020 Author Posted December 1, 2020 I can try this too maybe: https://vvvv.org/contribution/texconvgui Can you tell me which is the correct output?
JackScape Posted December 1, 2020 Author Posted December 1, 2020 Ok i have tried. With BC3_unorm texture become very dark and i lost the "red part". It works but it's really dark. The first one does not convert anything and the third one cannot be read in game. Armor still appears purple, I don't know why.
Dorabella Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 20 hours ago, JackScape said: Armor still appears purple The normal texture is missing . Being a DDS, you should be able to convert it like this:Use an image converter (paint.net or XnView), save it as a PNG Close the program, reopen it, import the PNG and save it as DDS. As I understand it, skyrim LE reads some very simple DDS . As a verification of the process, with Nifskope or OS, reapply the texture
JackScape Posted December 5, 2020 Author Posted December 5, 2020 Everything worked! Thanks a lot for you help!
