Guest Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 I noticed NPCs' heights are varied and adds to realism but its barely noticeable anyway and causes clipping and misalignment on some sexlab animations. Is there a way to do make everyone's height the same without having to edit each one in racemenu?

EDIT: The Setting is under Animation Settings and is Even Actors Height and it creates and average rather than setting them all to 1.00. I don't believe that Skyrim NPC's are different heights/scale, at least not the Vanilla ones, they all look to be set to 1.00 to me. Skyrim Races are different heights, not all of them making much sense. You could change those if you want them all to be 1.00. There's a lot less races than there are NPC's so it wouldn't take that long. Custom Followers are a different matter. Also, SL profiles store the adjustments you make for positions and will remember the next time it plays that animation with that sex/race combination. Of course it's likely to take a while before your profile contains all the correct settings.

Yep I tried the Even Actors Height option but it comes with the expense of not having the Potential CTD Fix turned on. Its been a while since I played so I don't know if they've manage make a workaround. Yeah I guess I didn't explain it too well. I meant NPCs have different heights than other NPCs of another race. QQ though how do you change specific race's height? Don't worry I'm on bare minimum right now anyway.

You're right, there are some that are different heights, took me a while to find them. The Nord, Erik the Slayer (who's meant to be pretty young) is 0.98 which would make him still slightly taller than an Imperial but shorter than the usual Nord and the Imperial, Gian the Fist (ooh err) is 1.05 which makes him a lot taller than the usual Imperials and slightly taller than a Nord. However this seemed to be pretty rare, it might be worth noting who is smaller (you can check using console, targetting the npc and entering getscale) and then changing them in xEdit, you may need to disable and enable the NPC in console for the change to take effect. Changing the Race Height can be done in xEdit. Spoiler Some Races, Breton, Woodelf, Khajit, Argonian, Redguard have different heights for Male and Female (although the difference with Redguard is so small it's pointless) I don't know why this wasn't done across the board, it makes sense but I think the rest are the same height no matter what gender.

Ah fck it I did it myself. Good that I still remember how to use creation kit, bad that I forgot how to check against plugin conflicts. Its a height change what could go wrong? I just changed every vanilla race I could find. I didn't keep it in my game though I just loaded it up, walked up to npcs, squint my eyes to see if they're the same height, then removed it. I've done enough messing around with ck to know even a simple change like this can go horribly wrong. To anyone reading this: Do whatever you guys want with it, although it will be appreciated if you went back here in case it actually does work with no underlying issues. Test-Uniform Heights.esp
