Bratty Cheeks - RMCW Posted November 26, 2020 Posted November 26, 2020 Hi! I'm trying to create a mod for a more RP experience of prison. Something different to POP & DCL prison. I'm struggling to work out how to disable the dialogue box to serve your time in prison when you activate a bed. For my mod to work you need to be able to sleep in prison. I know POP does this somehow but I couldn't work out how it was doing it after looking through the code for an hour or 2. I have already looked through all Skyrim's native scripts and found what I thought was the script but apparently it is a deprecated script that is no longer used in the final game. I posted about it here too: Maybe someone that has worked on POP can help me? I have spent hours and hours trying to work this out at this point. At this time I don't even know what the requisites are for you to receive the pop up for you to serve time in prison. It is particularly annoying that the native script is there in Skyrim's files that was used for this purpose but is just left there for no reason. Thanks.
AlyssaAwoo Posted November 26, 2020 Posted November 26, 2020 This could likely destroy the universe or lead to compatibility issues but how about deleting the original bed ? I have no idea how scripts work but I suppose there is a script attached to the bed and deleting it + replacing it with a different bed would make the vanilla script totally powerless.
Bratty Cheeks - RMCW Posted November 26, 2020 Author Posted November 26, 2020 Nah the problem isn't caused by the bed, you could spawn a new bed or even use the sleep anywhere mod and it would still trigger the pop up while in prison ? Annoys me that they didn't just put a script on the bed, honestly..
