Somehow I feel like Loverslab is censoring much more lately. I really hope this won't turn into a second Nexus after all, because that's something we definitely don't need. It seems like only because the Nexus is such an ass and moderated the file, nobody is allowed to have it now. In my opinion, if the mod wasn't for public use, it never should have been released anywhere at all.

 

Also: just because other modders aren't accidentally members of this forum (unlike m0ckin9bird) and aren't aware, their work is being hosted or shared here, it doesn't mean they permit it. In fact, a lot of content on here isn't officially allowed. Ever heard of "double standards"?

 

If someone still wants the mod, you should go and look on modgames.net.

MOST works(mods) shared here are NOT 'being' modified without permission.

I think that is one of the main reason the author is pissed off. Derivative work is worse than unauthorized distribution to some artist.

I was told that mockingbird hid the file and not Nexus. Mockingbird told me that the file will be up again soon anyway.

It is up to me to tell users that they cannot have mods not you two. This thread has been left unlocked to stop people from creating new threads and asking for the mod.

I must say it was a very high quality replica, i have TR2013 and the skyrim companion was identical.

I downloaded this mod when it was still available on the Nexus. Then I had to reinstall my computer and lost all my mods and stuff. When I came to download the Lara Croft mod, it was gone. I stumbled upon this thread and now when I was about to download the file, it's gone? Why :/?

I was one of the unfortunate to have missed downloading it on Nexus as I took a break from Skyrim to play, and don't laugh, the actual Tomb Raider game.  I did see the mod and was hugely impressed and thought I'd d/l it the next day but I do remembering looking at the comments ppl were leaving on Nexus and it's fair to say a number of them were rude and acting like spoilt brats.  So in truth when I went to d/l it the next day I wasn't suprised that m0ckin took it down.

 

I'm still hopeful that m0ckin will re-release it again at some point.

Yes and no. To be honest I see it as it's still yours but you won't be able to control who shares it with who and where it is uploaded to. You sure a hell can't expect anyone not to upload it somewhere else after the Nexus page for it was hidden by the author that made it.

It was released ages ago. 

 

Mockingbird later placed the mod in hidden but it now seems that it is back up here.
