StableBot Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Just curious, has anyone been able to make Combat Gameplay Overhaul works with custom animations like Dynamic Animation Replacer? I got it to around 70% compatible by deleting 1hm_behavior in the behavior folder of CGO. Most stuff seem to work, except for 2 handed weapons for player character. When I equip a 2 handed weapon, he go into unarmed idle and won't swing the weapon. NPC seem to be able to use 2hw just fine though. Is there a way I can just have the lean mechanic and jump attack from CGO without the other stuffs? I really don't care for the animations or unlocked grip. I've been deleting stuffs, but I can't seem to make it work the way I want.
Lokiada Posted January 10, 2021 Posted January 10, 2021 Same problem cant seem to find a solution, ive tried overriding the mods animations quite a few times but the single handed (raised left hand) animation still seems to override it somehow. I just dissable the mod which is a pitty because of the many nice other features. I might try to mess around with the file in SSEEdit.

The solution I found is, install CGO, set up your lean percentage, then delete everything in CGO except '0_master.hkx' from '_1stperson' and 'behavior' files. What you're left with is lean and jump attacks only.

I'd very much like to get this working, but I deleted everything except for 0_master.hkx and the folders to contain it and it doesn't have my procedural leaning. I did open the game and set the values in MCM. Any help is appreciated

Simply run this on Nemesis, and check the CGO box like how you would with normal CGO. This is a standalone, so the original is not even needed. And...that's it.

I'm trying to combine Jumping Behavior Overhaul with CGO, but no matter what I try (including noobshi's mod above), the landing animation will not blend with the walking/running animation. If I uninstall CGO (and rerun Nemesis), the running and moving animations blend together very smoothly. All I'd like out of CGO is being able to do jump attacks, pretty much. Other mods can cover just about everything else. I've tried some other options (Character Behaviors Enhanced, I think?) for jump attacks and they won't blend, on landing, either.

I wasn't able to get CGO to blend with JBO animations at all when using the behavior version of JBO - instead I just chose the animations only version w/o the behaviors. It's not perfect, since the jump attacks don't use the animations from JBO, but personally I prefer it to having jittery animations on landing. If anyone else finds a solution let me know, but afaik, they don't play 100% nicely together.

And...that's it. this comes a little late, but when I try to use that patch, strafing in third person gets disabled (can only move forwards and backwards, and turn via looking with my mouse). is there a known fix for that?
