troubleshooting [RESOLVED] Texture/Mesh for DD Body Items Not Showing

First post, first week using SL and DD. I use Vortex for Mod Management, and I am using all three DD mods with prerequisites.

 

My problem is that no body items (catsuits, chastity belts, straightjackets) show on my character when equipped (only by head, hands, and feet are shown; everything else is invisible). Corsets from DD, on the other hand, don't display at all (just my character's naked body). I can view these items in BodySlider and in the inventory preview just fine. Perhaps this is an issue with my character model, but I cannot find it. I am using CBBE and have made sure that all three DD mods are configured for this.

 

I have already reinstalled all three DD mods.

 

On a different note, SL animations are very finicky and only work about a quarter of the time I test them (mostly testing the female masturbation animation using the MCM). I would prefer to troubleshoot the DD issue first, but this is worth mentioning just in case it's related.

Edit #1: I have read most, if not all, of the other troubleshooting topics related to this problem, but I have not found one yet that fixes my issue.

 

Edit #2: My character appears naked just fine, aside from a slight gap between wrist and forearm, so I think the problem might be DD itself or how DD interacts with the model.

Disregard; RESOLVED. My BodySlide was not working as intended, I believe due to my DD mod files being spread out across my secondary hard drive between Vortex, a staging folder, and Skyrim itself.

 

TIL:

1. Stage your rollout of these kinds of mods if you want a good result. Test after installing the mods at each stage, going in-game to look for errors, plugin recognition, and testing animations.
   1. Stage 1: SL, FNIS + requirements
   2. Stage 2: DD + requirements
   3. Stage 3: Actual Gameplay mods using SL and DD
2. Decide if you want CBBE or UUNT bodies during Stage 1
3. CBBE is a whole other mod. Download it.
4. HBT Extensions is a whole other mod. Download it.
5. FNIS Generator for Users is important, kids, and should be run after you install all DD mods.
6. If BodySlide cannot see your DD presets, something is wrong, and you would be advised to start over from the beginning (no harm in taking your time to get it right, because the results are worth it).
