I have two mods that I installed early in this latest go-round with installing mods and then reinstall skyrim.. ..on the last Skyrim install, I started with Animated Prostitution and Skyrim Slavers Guild, but uninstalled to try diffent combinations of Mini Lovers, then uninstalled them to try SexAddicts.  Uninstalled it to try something else, maybe SexiS or Sangunie's...really wasn't sure.  Anyways..to be sure I was as clean as possible again after uninstalling SA & FNIS, I reinstalled FNIS and on a lark just ran it to be sure everything was gone, but instead I got the following from it, see attached.

Then I ran Josh's to see what it found and I got a list of files showing AP and SSG still had shit being loaded, but when I looked for them, I couldn't find them.  I checked under Mesh/Actor/Character/EVERYTHING  --  I checked under Scripts/Source/EVERYTHING.  I checked the contents of Update.bsa & Skyrim - Animations.bsa and nothing.

I know that these hangers-on can, in time, totally fuck things up, so I've tried to stay clean as much as possible, I've restated my game and haven't gotten too far into it yet where if I have to go back to a clean save it's doable.

Now I'm really at a loss and tired of looking for answers and not playing the game, and hoping someone might give me a clue if I'm just chasing my tail and wasting time, as I suspect, the only way to really get rid of them is another reinstall.. ..but then again, ya never know.. ..

With that thought, here's my load order:

Animations and behaviors are totally independent from scripts, so no point in looking there. You should look however, inside \Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Data\meshes\Actors\Character\behaviors, because its in behaviors hkx files, where the "animation list" is partially stored. Also, FNIS edits 0_Master.hkx, to reference those new behavior files.

Also, that tool you use, seems to be able to search inside BSAs. And since BSAs are just archives, that can have the same structure folder has the Data folder, you can have some lost BSA in your Data folder, that has those anims/behaviors inside \meshes\Actors\Character\. Checking inside Bethesda's BSA, is pretty useless, since it would be just silly to edit archived files from Bethesda. No modder in his perfect mind will ever do that, and besides that would imply that you had downloaded those from somewhere else other then Steam.

I'm not sure if FNIS has some unistall mod mechanism, or how-to... But, if you simply remove the folders Behaviors, Animations, Characters and Characters Female, all of them inside  inside \meshes\Actors\Character\, its pretty much like uninstalling all animation related mods and files that FNIS might have added/edited. That way, your game will be forced to look for the original files inside the original Bethesda's BSAs. Also check for lost BSAs and animated mods that are distibuted with BSA files, and uninstall the all. After that reinstall FNIS and any animation related mod you want to.

Vector I appreciate your insight, I admit my approach was just hit or miss and of course..I mostly missed.  Of course I've download most everything from somewhere other than Steam.  Nexus, Lovers Lab, mostly, but some from Japanese sites.  Anyways, I checked everything you suggested:

Meshes\actors\character\animations\FNIS\FNIS_FNIS_List.txt

Meshes\actors\character\animations\FNIS\FNISBase\FNIS_FNIDBase_List.txt

And under:

Meshes\actors\character\behaviors - they have listed:

0_master.hkx
FNIS_FNIS_Behavior.hkx
FNIS_FNISBase_Behavior.hkx
FNISRoot_Behavior.hkx

Meshes\actors\character\characters\defaultmale.hkx
Meshes\actors\character\characters female\defaultfemale.hkx

That's it.  Aside from being all over my data folder, looking for anything that could be related to any of these mods.   I went as far as unpacking each one and verified the contents and where they we're being installed.  I just don't know enough to know where to look from here or deduce a solution from what little I do know.  It's just knowing if I can get ahead of a problem, I have  a chance of avoiding it now or some other time, so I appreciate your help.

A lot of people get the exact same numbers you're getting - 373 animations for 2 mods. I had them too, with a clean install with no mods loaded except FNIS itself. I can only imagine the official BSA's from Bethesda have some animation files that are being checked, or something like that. In any case, the 373 animations are completely unrelated to AP and SSG - I know this because I never installed either of them, and I still got those numbers. I wouldn't worry about it.

Kholdy, I appreciate that information.  I admit I considered that for a moment as being possible, but rejected it as wishful thinking.  I'm going to take your advised and move on to a more glorious end.. ..     *wicked grin*

Thank you sir.
