Clearing out animation registry

I’ve reached SexLab’s animation limit (not FNIS), and I’d like to clear out animations I don’t use from the registry.

 

1) Would it be safe to go into the json file and bulk delete the entries for the animations I don’t want?

 

2) Would doing a Reset Animation Registry lose all of the positioning adjustments I’ve made? And would it empty all my slots to make room for more or is there something else I need to do first?

have you installed the 2000 patch? I have a 3000 beta you can try

What patches? I just started playing Skyrim again after about 6 months off, so I'm still catching up.
