ASX Brothel Mod Needs a New Scripter/Animator

    When Skyrim started out, Rain of Chaos and a few other modders began to work on one of the first and most promising adult mods for Skyrim. This mod was called ASX (Adult Show XXX). He wanted to create a strip club of sorts, so I joined forces with him, although I had a different vision and he seemed to like that vision. Basically, rather than a strip club, I wanted to create a brothel with dancing girls.


    The concept, was that basically, the brothel is owned by a den mother who buys slaves and "frees" them in return for their endentured servitude at her brothel. Since slaverly is considered illegal according to lore, this is her legal work-around to "get around the law." She also ownes an illegal drug ring. Most of her services are located in Markarth. In order to protect her establishment, she hires bounty hunters to kill anyone that trifels with her business.

    As it stands, this mod is fully voiced, fully dialogued, nearly fully scripted, fully quested, fully navmeshed, and nearly complete. What I need however, is someone with greater scripting abilities than myself to help finish the project. RoC was the lead developer and lead scripter. He will also be releasing ASX as a resource with all of the animations thus created for it.

What Needs to be Done:

    I need a partner to help me finish up this project. All we need to do, is write a script for a mini-game where the player can tip the dancers for them to strip nude and play different animations (concept script is working, just need a final script). We also need someone to help implement the actual sex animations in-game, via script for the actual sex interactions to take place. Basically, just the sex itself needs to be implemented.

    Also, if there are any animators here, we could probably use some touch-ups on the animations and maybe new animations all-together.

I've noticed a SexiS mod being developed and I was wondering about combining efforts? This could be a great demo. Also, RoC really was the pioneer of adult animations/mods for Skyrim. We have developed this mod for nearly over a year now, since Skyrim's very release. This mod is litterally 90% complete. It would take very little effort for me to clean it up a bit and for a talented scripter to wrap up in a very short ammount of time.

 

Basically all I need is this: after the sex dialogue initiates, I need a script that checks if the giver/reciever are male/female, fades out, moves them to a bed and forces 3rd person, fades in, plays the animaiton for a few seconds with related sounds, and then does a fade out/in effect to complete the scene.

The author of SexIS in Cmod who is currently M.I.A for more than a month now.Sexis is a w.i.p. framework for Skyrim (like loverswithPK was for Oblivion).SexIS's developement is on hiatus and updated upto Skyrim ver.1.8.Waxenfigure has made a compatibility patch for SexIS so as to be compatible with ver.1.9.To sum it up,as for scripts, you are to speak with waxenfigure (author of sex addict) or jbezorg (author of Sanguine's debuchery) or Ashal (one of the Admis that has done lots of things for oblivion and is stating to study for Skyrim) or ag12 (the author that is trying to implement a slavery system in Skyrim).For animation tweeks or new animations you are to sppeak with Arrok (has made new anims and also reworked several others for Skyrim).(There are other talented people here and probably i forget their nicknames..sorry Lads )All of them have their own respected threads at the adault mod download section that publish their mods and updates.Hope i helped .Though what you mention in your 1st post looks realy realy promising

Yep, I'll try to get some screenshots to give you all an idea of what we are working on. Just need to fire up Skyrim again. I am a VERY busy man right now however. Got a full time job in data cabling and two mods I'm working on. I can pause my Fallout mod if anyone wants to help with this one, so I'm willing to put my full modding attention on Skyrim if it needs to become the top priority.

 

Basically, I made everything RoC needed done and waited for it to become finished. However, He became much too busy and I had my own project going on as well. But with it being so close to finish and so far, very polished, I would love to see it actually completed.

Hey, I'm really glad to hear about this mod trying to be finished since I have always favored Adult show animation the most. I am currently learning how to use the creation kit and reading tutorials on scripting. I hope soon I will be able to script and learn how to do it better and wish the best of luck for you and this mod. I hope you stay motivated on this mod and get as much help as you need. Now i like the sound of this! after i saw ASX go into a "dead" state i was worried the brothel the mod mentioned would also die with it.

I'm guessing the player character can only buy and not sell there from your info? while i would prefer if both was possible its much better than nothing

Well color me disappointed.  I was really hoping for something with less oppressive overtones like everyone else seems to make.  Something where the women involved are written like they actually like their job; "I want to be here" rather than "I have to be here".

 

I don't know.  I liked the old ASX, so I'm compelled to wait and see if it doesn't somehow redeem itself.  But from what you say, it's so close to done that I can't see it changing for the better at this point.

What needs to be touch up in the animations. What types of new animations are you looking for. I could take a look at them for you. Also what skeleton was used for making the animations.

+1. All this killing, looting and exploring is quite tiring. If you add raping and stealing females of various races to this list, I doubt if even Dragonborn could keep up.

Ok, to clear up the slavery thing.... no, it isn't intended to be there for the purpose of "rape" or simple "slavery". It is there rather as a story-telling device.

 

The Brothel is actually called, "The House of Earthly Pleasures," which is a reference to a location in Morrowind that had slave dancers, when this was legal. The idea, is that the owner of this establishment is a "Den Mother," a higher level hooker basically, who buys slaves asks them to willingly work for her not only as a work-around for the law, but as a way to allow these women to work their way back into society. They are only in a form of endentured servitude as a way to pay her back for what she had to pay the slavers in order to free them and to gain a little more back for that. The idea is that most of the slaves feel that she has freed them. However, I leave it up to the player's imagination to decide how they feel about it. You can actually kill the owner if you wish.

 

She has a henchmen who is a slave himself, but feels that he has been saved by her and offers the player odd-jobs. My idea is to use this story to both give the city a darker overtone and to make it feel a bit more corrupt, and I plan to add a mission where you help one of the slaves actually take down a group of slavers.

 

Think of this establishment as a man-in-the-middle, rather than a pure source of evil. It helps to free slaves in a peaceful manor, allows them to work their way back into society, but is a business and as such, must make money, which is why they have to earn freedom.

 

I may make a second brothel later that isn't slave-based, but I wanted this one to allow for further add-ons.

 

No, you won't be able to prostitute yourself unfortunately, that would take a great deal more work, as every patron entering the bar would need custom dialogue. :\

 

Mind you, I find rape as discusting as any other normal person does. I'm actually married in real life and have a great deal of respect for women. As I said, this is a story-telling device and an Easter-Egg for those who played Morrowind.

 

By the way, I intend there to be a clean and non-clean version of the mod. It is, as you want to see it.

lol I kinda have to agree with Jexsam on this after reading the first post it sounded like this was one of those rape mods its a tad misleading. Nice to have mod that adds a willing sex partner not just rape for once. I.E sanguine debauchery (no offence of course to the mod author)

lol, well think of it this way... realisitically, there is no form of prostitution, especially any that would take place within the time frame we are talking about, that doesn't have some form of dark undertones. The only kind of woman that  would ever subject herself to something such as this, would be, because they are starving or are slaves. Most establishments are run by crime bosses or pimps, who usually treat these women very poor in general. Most have to subject themselves to drugs and alchohol just to go through with it. In ancient times they usually WERE slaves in some form, usually captured from other armies etc. Any prostitute/stripper that tries to convince you that she is doing it because she "just loves her job" is probably just making a sale.

 

I didn't actually create the brothel as a simple means to create an adult mod, I actually wanted to create an interesting hangout, while also providing a base of operations for future quests/mods with dark undertones. For example, you can buy/purchase rare items from the drug dealers, you can work for the den mother as a bounty hunter, or you can choose to kill Surani, or to take out vairous slavers on various quests if you so choose. It is also about choice and role-play. Something that I find rare in most mods.

 

BTW, all npc's are fully voiced. I have done some of the voice acting for one of the slaves, that provide jobs to the player. We also have a number of voice actresses who have worked on this.

 

The dialogue is written in an inviting and willing tone, just like a normal brothel. There are also house rules that protect the prostitutes. For example, if you hit or attack one of the prostitutes/slaves, you will get a HUGE bounty on your head that is difficult to remove, the guards may refuse to let you in or will kill you on-site, and they will refuse to provide you jobs/quests. Not to mention, many of the jobs actually involve the player protecting the prostitutes.

 

I also felt that this really felt in-theme with the look and feel of Markarth. I chose Markarth because I really liked working with the kit provided for that, and it allowed for an interesting and unique layout.

 

For those who don't like this theme, I may make a second brothel somewhere else in the game that is "JUST" a brothel, but that will come later. That, actually would have been a lot easier to make. You don't really need guards or dancers for that.

Hey, I figured I would give an update. Yes, the project is still in the works. Just fixing a few bugs. I've had some delays over the Summer due to a number of bugs that are now resolved.

 

At current, I need someone very familiar with porting models from 3DS Max and getting them into Skyrim. I have an outfit developed by Persacom that needs to be converted. He was having trouble with getting it ported and I lack the time due to trying to get the rest of the mod constructed. If anyone is interested, please PM me here or on the Nexus.
