Andromedian Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 if you closely look up this screenshot you can see there is a kind of different. actually a huge improvement of the graphics but the special thing is the lighting and the no jaggy edges. and also the colour is quite different compare to original skyrim's colour I know ENB uses the DirectX libraries to achieve this effects I am wondering what it's called exactly? what is this bloom? but it doesn't look like bloom because it's totally different than bloom? then HDR? I don't think so.what is this? how come there is no jaggy edges of these models? how come the colours are quite different?
LaEspada Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Bloom on the enbs can make colors much more different or realitic with the right settings and lithhting mkes a huge difference. But the no edge jaggibess is probably because if antialiasing in te enb settings along with te secondary antialiasing effect that uou can enable in the env settings. I thibg its called enable jaggededge fix. Or sonething like that i use it for my enb and it fixes a lot of jagged edges.
Andromedian Posted March 22, 2013 Author Posted March 22, 2013 ENB is actually slap to the performance of the game. I don't need everything I just need how to get only these effects. I already enabled SSAO through Nvidia Control Panel so no point of SSAO of the ENB. beside ENB uses a custom DirectX library so that will slow down the game a bit more because it has more additional functions to check. no need to use the features of the ENB. installing and using the ENB without any feature is enough to reduce the performance. so ENG sucks horribly. hope boris won't get butt hurt now lol
Krissy Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 The thing I notice most here is the really soft shadows. I like it!
