Is there a slow-moving freecam?

Hi,

So when you're taking screenshots, you all know that you can toggle the free camera by using the "tfc" console command.  You can also freeze time by using the "tfc 1" command. However, the movement of the freecam is really fast, and its tough to make precise changes in camera angle and distance etc.

Is there a command to make the free camera move slower?  Holding down shift or control or alt while moving the camera doesn't have any effect.

If not, how do you guys move your camera to get just the right shot, is it just frustrating trial and error?

Thanks!

tfc then sucsm 1 or 2 etc. 1 being the slowest. I've only ever used 1 and 2 so no idea about higher numbers or how high it would go.

Well. I did not know that. Thank you, Mogie. Thusfar I've had to use small increments of fov to get the slight changes in distance. Your information will make life much easier!

Type sucsm 1, you can change the value to 2 or 3 if 1 is very slow though.

You can set that "sucsm xx" number to pretty much anything you like (although I assume there's a ceiling) to controll speed. :)

Although I am by no means a pro, here's a set of commands I use for virtually every shot:

tfc 1     Pauses the game and toggles the freecam. Type "tfc" again to unpause.

sucsm 1    As discussed above.

fov xx     Adjusts the field of view ("xx" being the number you want to use). Lower numbers (eg: 10) are good for close-ups, higher numbers (eg: 80) are good for big landscape shots.

tm     Toggles the UI on & off.

When I've got the shot/s I want, I then enter the console & enter those commands in reverse order to adjust things I wish to revert to normal. ;)

Thanks!  Those others I knew about, I was simply frustrated bopping back and forth and back again trying to get the just-so-perfect angle on some shots.

I also like to sometimes hit the inventory button "I", when the menu is toggled off.  It can give you a pretty cool blurring effect.
