Snowmoon Posted October 9, 2020 Posted October 9, 2020 Hi there. I followed the Conglomerate 01 & 02 tutorials, and I'm just about done with my finicky ass skyrim install. Got to the bodyslide stage. Send help, please! One: Can't find any bodies in here. What am I customising? How? What? Two: There's no presets. Zip zilch nada. Attached an image, the dropdown is blank. Please help, I followed the tutorial to the letter and i don't know how to proceed.
dnoah Posted October 9, 2020 Posted October 9, 2020 That could happen if you have Skyrim LE (which I assume you do, since this is LE support thread) but installed Bodyslide for SSE.

dnoah Posted October 9, 2020 Posted October 9, 2020 What about the folder \BodySlide\SliderPresets\ ? There should be UnifiedUNPPresets.xml or CBBEPresets.xml in there. That's where that preset list that you're missing, is filled from. My guess is, something went wrong with your Bodyslide install.

There is fully just not even a sliderpresets folder. So how do I resolve this? I installed bodyslide with NMM.
Snowmoon Posted October 9, 2020 Author Posted October 9, 2020 The folders I have are ConversionSets (which contains a UNPConvert.xml), lang, res, ShapeData, SliderGroups and SliderSets (containing what looks to be pre-built bodyslide files? they're .osp). there are some .xmls in there like DDAUNP (is that the preset file for devious devices?) Thinking something got fucky
dnoah Posted October 9, 2020 Posted October 9, 2020 Something wrong with your installation. You should select one of the options for body data, CBBE or Unified UNP, depending on what you're using. The option text should read "This includes the Unified UNP data for BodySlide. If using a different body mod, you might not need this!" (or same with CBBE). You should reinstall and pick one of those.

To clarify - it won't eat my bodyslide folder to uninstall, given I have so much stuff in there from bodyslide-dependent mods? Just want to check before I do.
dnoah Posted October 9, 2020 Posted October 9, 2020 Well, I won't vouch for whatever mod manager you're using. Backup Bodyslide folder before uninstall, if you're not sure (by default it's \data\CalienteTools\Bodyslide\, just copy&paste).

Reinstalled, double checking that I selected both Bodyslide and UUNP in the install FOMOD. There's still no SliderPresets folder. Would making one and hunting down the correct xml files work?

You could extract it manually to where it should be, but my worry is, that if it's missing, there likely are other files that didn't extract as well. Apparently something goes wrong with your install process. Maybe some mod manager settings need tweaking.

Following a reinstall. Now, quick query just so I'm clear... is all I have to do, to build something in Bodyslide, I just select the preset for the body I'm using?

dnoah Posted October 9, 2020 Posted October 9, 2020 Spoiler Couldn't tell you anything about NMM, unfortunately. As a last resort, you could extract the mod archive manually (but that's generally not recommended). I'd merge that whole subfolder, \BodySlide and Outfit Studio - v5.2.0-49015-5-2-0-1601492988.7z\02 UUNP\CalienteTools\BodySlide\ , withOUT overwrite, with your Bodyslide folder. Your problem from OP should go away, at least. Or maybe someone with NMM knowledge can give better advice. Been using Wrye Bash myself, but that is not something to recommend to the end user, or so I hear. EDIT: Sorry, I didn't keep up. This is outdated.

Scroll down and look into spoiler under big red subtitle. EDIT: if you need to do a single outfit, then yeah, pretty much what you said.
