LieutenantDaniel Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 As the title suggests, I can see different overlays provided by different mods but the only ones that do not show up are the ones that are supposed to be on my char's face. I've tried installing LMCC since it was recommended on another post, but it just gave my character the brown face bug (likely installed it improperly but idk) and sorry if this is the wrong subform, I never post on here. srayesmanll Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 You need to modify the skee64.ini included with racemenu. The face overlays are normally off by default due to a long-standing bug where decapitating a char (PC or NPC) with face overlays will ctd. Look for bEnableFaceOverlays in the ini and set it to 1.

Where is that INI located? I cant find it anywhere in the directory or it's subfolders
srayesmanll Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 If you are using Mod Organizer, just double-click the mod (left pane) and then click the ini tab (2nd one). Then click the ini in the list on the left (should be the only one). The ini text will be displayed in the main pane. If you've manually installed the mod, the file should be in the data\SKSE\Plugins folder. I don't use vortex so not sure if it has the ini editor built in like MO.

I just realized you're talking about Skyrim, this post is on the Fallout 4 section. However I fixed the issue by resizing all of the mod's face tattoos to fit the same resolution as my player's head using this program: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/17624/?tab=files
