baroncartwright Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 Hi guys, I've posted on the Flower Girls nexus, I've posted on the skyrimmods subreddit, and I can't get an answer. I just want to make custom furniture, (Snazzy Furniture and Clutter Overhaul) work with Flower Girls. I'm using SSEEdit for Skyrim Special Edition. Please see the attached screenshot. I made a new patch with Snazzy as its master. I did copy as override of the permitted furniture from the Flower Girls mod into my new patch. I did copy as override of the furniture I want to add from the Snazzy mod into my new patch. But I can't figure out how to add the entries from the Snazzy mod into the permitted list from the Flower Girls mod. I tried right clicking, clicking and dragging, etc. Please help! Thanks
Guest Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 If you have CK, you can drag and drop forms inside a list. On xEdit the only method I know is right click at the right of Form ID and then Add one by one
baroncartwright Posted September 9, 2020 Author Posted September 9, 2020 Thanks so much for responding. I don't have CK at the moment, and I don't mind adding them one by one. Can you pls clarify because I must be doing something wrong. When I right click on the word "FormID List" on the left side panel, and choose Add, then I type in the ID of a bed from Snazzy, I get an error that the "Existing record [the form ID I typed] has a different signature." So when you say adding the Form IDs one by one, do you mean I should click something in the right side panel? Can you just tell me what exactly I'm supposed to click and where? I tried working in the right side panel and I see no option to add anything. Thanks again for helping

Thanks again for helping You must right click on the right pane, exactly at the right of the line FormIDs (check the small red and the big black overlapped), then Add, it'll add a null reference, then you edit it with your form (i.e. I copy pasted the form ID of an Assault Rifle). Something like this:
baroncartwright Posted September 9, 2020 Author Posted September 9, 2020 You're AMAZING!! Thank you SO SO much. It worked. I'm ashamed to say I was struggling with this for weeks. It was so frustrating, especially since I knew it must be something so simple.

If after this patch you'll find you like this kind of things, I point you to a thread of KoolHndLuke: https://www.loverslab.com/topic/127129-x-edit-applications-and-patches-for-beth-games/#comments Also, there are some manuals for xEdit, it's not easy but it really allows you to make some magic and gives a lot of satisfaction - again, if you like this kind of things and modding in general) i.e. this one: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/38413

I will read both! So far, I've only watched some tutorials on Youtube, so I have limited knowledge, but definitely want to learn more. You have a wonderful day my friend, & thanks again for removing my frustration, so I can finally play Skyrim the way I want it!
