lolicatgirls9 Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Installing the High-Res Skin Texures and Face Textures for High-Res blah blah, I get this crap: The only explanation I can think of is that I have other skin textures installed or something, since the Set Body 3Dm Omod installed textures prior to my installation of the High-Res blah blah. I want the facial textures to match the body textures in tone, shine, etc. What facial textures do I need to install for the face and body to match?
Sizustar Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Actually, it looks more like your face texture and mesh isn't set to "oily" So you need to check the mesh in nifskop and tweak the skin to glossiness to brightest. And also the face texture, set the alpha channel to brighter
Ryu Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 I think the body textures you installed from The High Rez Body pack might simply not match the face textures from the High Rez Face pack. They may have not been created as a whole (face+body), just assembled for your race. Either do what Sizu suggested or install DDS Thumbnail Viewer, check the _n.dds file for your face textures and substitute it with another one giving more shine or install less oily textures for your body . Changing tones would require some work with Photoshop/GIMP on the .dds files of your race's body and face.
lolicatgirls9 Posted October 15, 2011 Author Posted October 15, 2011 I figured out the problem. I'm using Abriael's Human Races Revamped Imperial race for my character, which uses separate textures. After editing them in Nifskope, it still doesn't match up. There doesn't seem to be a High-Res Face Texture for Abriael's Imperials. I'm just going to have to go without the oiled skin, aren't I? EDIT: I found a skin texture I like better. Thanks for trying to help though, guys.
