APL Avatar Posted August 26, 2020 Posted August 26, 2020 The game keeps creating freaks, having babies and moving my created sims with random sims. Any way to control this?
Proje Posted August 26, 2020 Posted August 26, 2020 I feel like MC Command Center is not as popular as I originally imagined...

APL Avatar Posted August 26, 2020 Author Posted August 26, 2020 I have MC but it have a LOT of stuff. A bit of help from people experienced using it would be nice instead of messing around with the settings randomly.
Neodarkside Posted August 26, 2020 Posted August 26, 2020 I know there are ways of using MCC and the flagging system to ensure certain sims will never marry or have children, but its also been awhile since I've used it. I've gotten to the point where instead of doing things like that, I just have certain families set as played. I had to keep going into some of my families who live together and moving them back home and using cheats to divorce the spouse the game forced them into. Like I had a ladies man I made as a unplayed Sim, I intended him to be a potential spouse for my female sims, only to realize the game married him off to another guy. After this happened 3 times in a row, each time I divorced the sim and his spouse, even set them both as hating each other, I finally set the Sim as played. Others like Judith Ward, I know I have her flagged as never marry and never have children using MCC.
Proje Posted August 26, 2020 Posted August 26, 2020 Yeah you can set flags on your controlled sims and they wont be involved in whatever you dont want them to. That setting is within the command you see when you click on your sims, under flags As for population, that is controlled under population when you click the computer. You can control how many or if any randoms are generated, and in your case, how many babies they produce. It is really a swiss army of Sims modding. That is why i was a little sardonic with the reply. It does most of the basic needs of a modded Sims game and then some.
APL Avatar Posted August 26, 2020 Author Posted August 26, 2020 Ah I see. I have do manually apply it to every Sim I create. I was hoping for a more general control. but that will have to do. What are the options to make them not move to a different house or multiply?
