Bloodfang Posted August 19, 2020 Posted August 19, 2020 Hey guys, So basically I have managed to import and convert assets from an Unreal Engine 4 game to NIF with the help of a DevKit and Blender. I still need to learn how to add weight on the meshes but that is not my main concern for now. My issue is that I have material assets extracted with the .T3D extension, yet I have no idea how I could translate them into compatible Skyrim material files. The meshes is basically a chest armor with some fur decorations. I do have the Diffuse texture, Normal Map, and what I think to be the specular map to allow the metal parts to shine and the fur parts not be glossy as fuck (file was named as "chestguard_F_M.DDS" (F for female model but I'm unsure about the M definition). I wanted to know if there was a way to help me to import the material .T3D file into Blender or another tool to register the 3D model original material settings (even if I have to make some tweaks). I tried looking for a tutorial online, but I didn't see anything related to this specific question.
