Game crashes due to sex

Okay so this is a problem that just surfaced recently

 

I can't have sex at all without the game crashing

 

and i don't understand the problem..

 

i haven't D/L'd any new mods

 

any suggestions?

Load order would help just so we can see what you have.

How about settings? I had a crash bug once that was consistantly taking place as NPCs tried to stand up after having sex and it was due to my spectator setting with the SexDarkness mod. Were there any setting syou adjusted recently?

Ah, yes....load order fun.....The good news is you should be looking at an easy fix.

Pop over to the faq and grab the txt file that is attached to the bottom of the 1st post. It is the load order for lovers files.

 

I assume you have sorted your load order with Boss? If so good if not grab it from the nexus and sort your load order 1st.

 

Then refer to the lovers load order txt file to hand sort your lovers mods in OBMM per the guide and you should be in great shape.

Well, it looks like you are trying to run Tamago Club but you only have about half of the plugins. Either go to the link below and download/install/enable the rest of the plugins or uninstall Tamago.

I am assuming that you did use Boss to sort your load order and then you moved your lovers files by hand Yes?

 

Once you have done the above try running your game and if you still have problems from their post your revised load order and let us know what issues your having.

Head over to the nexus and grab BOSS - it is a load order program that will help to minimize conflicts with load order.

 

Note: BOSS is great for everything EXCEPT lovers mods. You have to sort those by hand as you have done.

 

Don't forget to either remove you partial install of Tamago or get the rest of the plug-ins.

After running Boss:

1. Make sure you have either removed all of Tamago or added in the rest of the plugins.

2. Move your lovers plugins by hand in OBMM to match the load order list from the FAQ.

 

Start up Oblivion and see if you have any other issues. If you do then post your load order and tell us what issues you are having.

 

If you don't have any issues from there.....enjoy yourself!!

But It has to do with the animations

 

I'd say about 90% of the time when it crashes, it crashes at the end right before they "blow away"

 

and the other 10% is when i just cycle through the animations and it will crash randomly....

Also note that unless I am so tired I just missed it you still are one plug-in short of having Tamago fully installed. I think you must have just not enabled it as it came with version 1.04 that I linked to before.

 

Now one last thing. After doing the above and testing to see if it works you really need to do a clean save. If you don't know what that is:

 

1. Disable all lovers mods in OBMM, then start up oblivion load a save, make a full manual save (hitting the escape key and selecting new save) then exit oblivion.

2. Then enable all your lovers mods in OBMM, restart oblivion and load your clean save and you should be in business.

 

The clean save helps to clear the save game of all lingering items from lovers as sometimes things can get stuck in there.

 

In the future the next hurdle that you need to cross to get that much closer to a stable game is learning how to make a bashed patch using Wrye Bash. It is availble over at the nexus (just use their search function). You can also get a pictorial guide on how to use it as well.

 

Other tips for stability are disabling autosaves (often will become corrupt), NEVER quicksave (also has a nasty tendency to become corrupt).

Game Companion

WeOPS

Streamline - note: fairly complicated install but WELL worth it.

Oblivion stutter remover (OSR for short)

4GB memory patch (if you are running a 64 bit operating system with 4 or more GB of RAM

My load order is nice and tighty now

 

But it was still crashing until i unchecked joburg and rapers in the main oblivion screen, saved the game, re-checked them and ran oblivion again.

 

That seemed to do the trick

No problem. Doing a clean save like you did helps to erase lingering code/scripts/other nonsense. Having clean saves is really important when you add and remove mods.

 

Another good habit to get into once you have a stable game is to make a backup - especially prior to adding/removing stuff. Reinstalling is NOT fun....
