nsfw sims 4 Critiquing this video (no sound) 2

Hello! I'm back again with another video. I was wondering if you all would mind giving me pointers again.

 

I'm still new to video editing but I took the advice I was given from the first video I posted (which I will openly admit was awful) and tried to improve! This is still something I mainly made for fun (using only Win 10 video editor) but I wanted to know if here was any way to improve it especially in terms of engagement and video flow.

 

This is the whole video (it's not a clip, but it is short) with no sound and features Vanessa and Vance (her brother I made) Jeong, meaning it does contain "family romance". So, if you don't like that, I apologize.

 

Thank you! I just wanted some advice on how I can make it better or what exactly is wrong with it. So...what do you all think?

I think it's quite alright, although it's hard to form a round opinion on a silent video, as sound is such an important part for setting the rythm/mood.

if i have to be critical, the super close-ups (like the ones at around 1:13), don't really work in sims porn IMHO... i know it's a staple of real porn, but in sims it just looks a bit weird coz of the low graphics fidelity, that really shows on these shots. (i always try to avoid using them).

apart from that, as i said i think the video is fine, sure there are a couple of mis-aligned shots here-and-there (like at 2:00), and i noticed some visible bad animation loops as well (2:02, 3:04, 3:13), but these are mistakes EVERYBODY makes ?, they will iron out with some practice. ?

Not bad, have to agree with peco tho stay away from too many up close shots. Some kind of interaction with the blonde (guess it's just someone reading).

Hello and thank you both very much for your feedback! I'm sorry I haven't responded in so long. But while I was away, I took the advice given to me and started working on another video that hopefully is better. I added things like movement, in game sounds and voices as well as background music. I tried my best to avoid any shots that would be super close up and edit out any mistakes. It will feature more "family romance" (apologies if that bothers you) with completely original characters and I will add it once it's finished. 

 

Also, just to address her, the blonde is the actual owner of the house (I edited Judith Ward). I have a story about why Vanessa is even there, but I'm still working on it...

Sorry about the delay! Here is the video I said I was working on! Please critique it, if you don't mind! It does have in-game sounds and background music. Also, as with the previous one, this one also contains "family romance" (brother and sister).

 

A bit of backstory: Owen and Danika's father Jaxson recently divorced from their mother, who wound up taking the house. With nowhere else to go, they move in with Jaxson's brother, another recent divorcee who also has a son. To feel more comfortable in their new surroundings, Owen and Danika fall back into some old pastimes.

Hey! I make Erotic Sims 4 Videos as well. However, I make Male x Male content, but regardless, I do have some tips for you that could help!

I would suggest using a custom penis rather than the default Wicked Whims one. It's very low quality compared to others. Actually, since you seem to be focusing on making videos, I would suggest downloading some custom CC body mods. It's possible to make close up shots of the intercourse if you have some good quality CC skins/body/genital mods, but just an idea unless you don't want to use any mods.  I'm not very familiar with female body CC mods because I only make Male Sims so I would look around the forum for them. I know there's a bunch as well!

 

I would either use Simdulgence's or Noir's Pornstar Cock.

 

 

 

Mods aside, the video and how it's shot is fine! You seem to know your camera angles and such so that's good. I like that you also have closeups of the Sims faces to show their facial expressions.

 

 A personal preference for me is to have some movement with each shot, meaning there should be some motion with the camera. It could be a simple pan-in zoom or shake or anything. It just starts to get a little boring if the shot is too static but again, it's personal preference. Depending on what editor you use, you could look for a plugin for realistic handheld camera movement or something to add a little more realism to the video. But aside from that, you seem to be doing good! Also, if your computer can handle it, I would look into using ReShade to add some depth of field to your videos!
