With the recent activity, of people making their games here, from the ground up, to be adult, I find myself reminded of this old thing.

Anyone else ever play it? Was it really that good... not really. But it is certainly interesting, I mean, a full 3D game built from the ground up with the rape mechanics and all. And the source files are all available to the public, should anyone want to use them, I think. Heh, besides, it's simply a little chunk of good, monkey rape fun. Shame that the maker never continued developing it, and no one else took it up. 

 

Oh, and if you want to see how bad a sex game can get, look up the first Dangerous Vaults... it's pretty bad.

I tried the DV2 first. Are the H-scenes supposed to work? The apes knock the PC down but don't do anything else besides punch the air above her. Also, is anything supposed to happen after going through that hole in the cave? The game insta game overs and yes there is an animation with the PC and some metal golem dude but nothing else happens. Is that it? Does the scene ever end? Also, I can't seem to crouch. Ctrl doesn't work. Does anyone else have this issue?

 

Well on first glance DV2 graphically isn't too bad for a 3d H-game alpha. The movement was awkward but I soon got the hang of it. The game did have some potential. It would be great if it developed a personality for the main character as well as adding a story along side with (working) sexual content. I agree, it's a shame that it got abandoned.

 

And then I tried DV1

Remap your controls in the options to whatever you like! Though be warned, the labels for down, and left, are messed up. Assigned A and S to the wrong ones. DX Oh, but even though I think it is labeled as crouch/jump back, or something like that, what it actually is, is crawl. >.<

 

And it depends. They have to punch your clothes of to a certain extent to be able to rape you. If they know you down and you still have clothing on, just mash attack untill you get back up. Also, if you get thrown against a wall, face first, with your ass sticking out, then there are no animations for that it seems. But either lying down on the ground, or with your back up to a wall, you will get raped. If you have your clothes torn off, or at least gotten to the bottom two stages of their health. The last one is just a belt, hah.

 

And yeah, that is it. Not much to do in the game.

 

I think the read me comes with relatively decent documentation.

Oh god, I forgot about Dangerous Vaults! Played both of them. Not the greatest games, but I give them points for being made from scratch.

 

I played DV 2 thinking that it was just the beginning, years later... no change

well one could try to collaborate and start work. Though the source files are not available anymore. I tried to get them to see if I can setup my environment. No luck.
