Characters not animating when starting sex

Sometimes actors just don't start animating. They literally just stand there. In my logs, I get

"2020 - 06:50:43PM] SEXLAB - NOTICE: ValidateActor(xray) -- FALSE -- They appear to already be animating
[08/04/2020 - 06:50:43PM] SEXLAB - NOTICE: ValidateActor(xray) -- FALSE -- They appear to already be animating" which I think is related to it.

go to the sexlab debug menu and click on the stop all animations button.

Did that, but still happens randomly when sex triggers.
