[QUESTION] Will armor mods for Skyrim SE work on Skyrim LE?

I've downloaded an armor mod but I can only find the Special Edition version of it. I'm wondering if installing it will cause any problems since I have the Legendary edition of Skyrim instead. Input would be appreciated!

Cathedral Assets Optimizer can convert them fairly quickly

SSE NIF Optimizer is generally faster and easier to use, but can't do as much.
