Tried looking in Cell and race sub-categories of the follower mod but couldn't find it....

Click on the NPC, look at the "reference" tab at the bottom, it will show where the ACHR is.  You can ctrl-click on it to go right to the record in question.

If it isn't in the cell, then it is probably in the worldspace.

You're going to have to be specific about what you want to do.  "Summoning" followers how?

I am trying to find summon id of followers with non-english/ jumbled up names that don't appear correctly. There are supposed to be few commands like player.place at me and move to, etc. Perhaps with follower id, it would be easier to directly reach them or move them to me instead of navigating through entire Skyrim....

1) Rename them.  XEdit can do that easily, then searching for them becomes a lot easier.

2) Always use prid [refID] -> moveto.player.  Do not use player.placeatme on unique NPCs -- no telling how quests and aliases and any follower management mods will react to that.

3) The data you will need for prid to work is the form ID from the ACHR (which is what you were looking at).  Unless you opened TESEdit with your full active load order, then the first two digits of the IDs will be different.  If you change the names of the NPCs, you can search for them in console (help "whatevertheirnameis") and get the first two digits that way, too, but the ID is for their NPC record, and not the refID/ACHR.

Ok. Is it correct to assume that the follower by default, in any mod, will always be found in either CELL, WORLDSPACE, or RACE subcategory only, in xEdit ?

I always open the specific mod only.

Not RACE,  They may be in there, but I'd leave that alone unless you know what you are doing.  Cell/Worldspace will get you what you need.

I should note: if they are in RACE, it is because the NPC is also being used as a preset for a race.  That isn't harmful, but it is hard to know what a modder did with that and how closely it is tied into other things.  Best to leave that alone.
